As with the title, I am looking for such monitor. Check my sig for my rig's spec. Need it for designing (photoshop, photo/videography etc) and of course, gaming! Prefer DVI input.
Budget can stretch above RM2k so throw all the recommendations you have and I'll do more research on it! Thanks yo!

Is the Acer predator still really the best IPS monitor today for both photo editing and gaming? QUOTE(kahtsin @ Feb 23 2017, 03:40 PM) Nice offer, but its 1080P I am aiming for the Acer Preadator XB271HU

QUOTE(kevyeoh @ Feb 25 2017, 12:43 PM) Is the Acer predator still really the best IPS monitor today for both photo editing and gaming? Not quite sure whether if it is the BEST or not, there are many other options that goes beyond this model. For example, 144hz is definitely not something you'd need for photo/video editing (maybe some might need it for animations etc). For gaming it does feel good to have 144hz. Take Dell monitors for example. They are brilliant but MOST of the refresh rates are capped at 60hz. Dell monitors are superb and sharp.

QUOTE(kevyeoh @ Feb 28 2017, 05:54 PM) So my primary usage is still for gaming and photo editing... and watching movies... any recommendations? Even I need some help here. What's your budget? The reason I aim for 1440p 27" is because of my GPU which wouldn't be nice for 4k. Acer predator is chosen because after some light reading there is slightly lesser BLB (backlight bleed. something common in IPS panels) than the Asus monitor. As for you, if you are fine with 60hz of gaming then Dell is your best option. Otherwise, just get an ips panel with 144hz and you'll be fine. Provided that your GPU can handle
