Hey guys, just got my persona cvt premium last week and the mileage now is 300km+ still breaking in carefully. When i'm driving on a bumpy road the centre dashboard will start to rattle, besides that on the day of the delivery itself the reverse camera was faulty. Sent to sc this morning and they cant fix the problem ask me go to proton sc at sungai besi to fix it. Besdies that the cvt is quite jerky at lowspeeds and sometimes it will jerk quite hard plus the throttle response delay isnt very pleasant especially when u are trying accelerate from standstill on a slope. Is this normal? But nonetheless its a quiet and comfortable car and im satisfied with it after upgrading it from a saga 1.3 FL 4 speed auto.

Got the persona 2 days ago. Noticed slight jerking like feel (semput2) whenever I accelerate slowly under 40km/h.

Went to kotadamansara SC. Reset reset reset
Went to Kelana Jaya SC today. Reset again.

After coming back from SC I noticed that when I put in Reverse gear the car doesn't move. Pressed the accelerator slowly still not moving. After 3 seconds jerks a little and moved. For this I suspect Hill hold assist thingy.

Went back to KJ SC immediately. As usual the guy said it's normal. You have to press the accelerator harder.

Came back with a poker face.

Now. Jerking(semput) is still there. Reverse gear problem is there too.

Bought the car for my wife. Feeling like we will be having a lot of vacations at SC😒🙃😟

Please advise and help me dear friends.

Sure gladly, here are all the QA issues I found with my Proton Persona.

2. Boot lamp was not working, they fixed it also on the first service

3. After the first service, the next day; front left light, left tailgate light, car plate number light stop working... I sent to the service centre the next day they fixed it (Refer to my frustrating experience here). The issue is with the fuse...

4. One week later, issue no.3 occurred again.

On the other hand, one guy I  met in the COSE service centre was extremely frustrated and angry to find 18 defects. He made a complaint directly to Proton Quality Assurance and I heard they are replacing his car completely.

Sorry forgot to mention the hot air is blowing from the bottom of car chassis, not inside the car.  It was my wife when exit from the passenger side complained why her leg felt hot.

OK I left my car at Mutiara SC for 3 days. They managed to solve it. But didn't give clear explanation on why or what they did. From what I understand it is because of socket longgar or something.

After taking back the car I found that the gear know rosak pulak. But for that they plan to change 2 things under warranty this week.

Slight jerking or not smooth feeling while take off. This is I believe because of air cond. When you off its smooth.

I will snap my report sheet for you. Atleast you can use that and ask them to call me if they want. Will rape them on the phone if they called me.

The compressor proton used in saga/persona is too strong. As a manual user I can  really feel the jerk when the compressor activates. As long as you're below 2.5k rpm when that thing turns on, it's like your car braked for a split second.

Best experience driving my car is in the cold hours in the morning with air cond off. Oh my God, the performance is soooooooooo gooooooddddd. Pickup

In the afternoon though..

I'm always with my seatbelt on and have been driving alone since i got the car though. One thing i realised is that it only beeps when radio is on but when i am on my usb it doesnt beep at all.

Want to check, is the driver side window supposed be able to auto scroll up?
The manual seems to say so.

I believe new production persona will come with this new HUD but is not Android System anymore.

Premium HU have graphical display (lebih feature) when the front sensor is activated.
Now no more graphic but only sound.

Yesterday just goJb SC done 1k service, i feedback them about dashboard rattling noise, SC technician told me even u buy 100k car also will have dashboard rattling noise if pass by uneven road, well. . Not much to say. I telling back tht guy old persona dashboard much better to new persona. He said New persona come a lot safety feature but build quality bad than old persona. I know wht he means 😂. Well. I regrets sold my old persona buy this new persona. Damm😞, but driving CVT punch really good than 4AT speed👍

Hi guys. My persona already passed 30k km. This week i noticed that sometimes, when i pressed the throttle pedal, seems that nothing happened or no power at all. Have to release pedal and pressed again then only the car moved forward. Happened few times today. Anybody experience this? Thanks

there are no release lever for the boot from inside cabin.  Just open the hood using the switch beside reverse camera or remote.

1st issue rattle i am quite fine with it RM50K car ma ,, but others problem i cannot accept cos this si the purpose i buy this shitty car ... now surve  no purpose for me with this car i buy
