Thanks for the review. rclxms.gif
I also plan to add Ultra Racing Bars, but will install Stage 1 first. I'm thinking of getting 19mm rear anti-roll bar (instead of the normal 16mm).

Ultra Racing Bar installation review after KL - Kuantan - KL trip using Karak and East Coast Highway

Before instalation :

uneven road/ during cornering rebound - few times before it stabilized
whole car swaying left to right (due to tall body design, i think) and feeling of steering wants to go left or right (due to elictric steering common characteristic) when :
- trying to overtake bus/ lorry above 100 km/h
- trying to overtake cars at 120 km/h
- speed exceding 140 km/h

Stage 1 - good for town driver
1. Proton Persona (BH) 1.6 (2016) Front Strut Bar / Front Upper Brace / Front Tower Bar
UR-TW2-3090
2. Proton Persona (BH) 1.6 (2016) Rear Sway Bar / Rear Stabilizer Bar / Rear Anti-roll Bar
UR-AR16-507

uneven road/ during cornering rebound - few times but better control before it stabilized
whole car swaying left to right (due to tall body design, i think) and feeling of steering wants to go left or right (due to electric steering common characteristic) when :
- trying to overtake bus/ lorry above 120 km/h
- trying to overtake cars at 140 km/h
- speed exceding 160 km/h

Full bar Installed - recommended for those who always travel long distance
1. Proton Persona (BH) 1.6 (2016) Front Strut Bar / Front Upper Brace / Front Tower Bar
UR-TW2-3090
2. Proton Persona (BH) 1.6 (2016) Rear Sway Bar / Rear Stabilizer Bar / Rear Anti-roll Bar
UR-AR16-507
3. Proton Persona (BH) 1.6 (2016) Rear Frame Brace / Rear Torsion Bar
UR-RT2-3095
4. Proton Persona (BH) 1.6 (2016) Rear Member Brace / Rear Lower Bar
UR-RL4-3094
5. Proton Persona (BH) 1.6 (2016) Front Member Brace / Front Lower Bar
UR-LA2-3091
6. Proton Persona (BH) 1.6 (2016) Front Member Brace / Front Lower Bar
UR-LA4-3092
7. Proton Iriz 1.6 (2014) Middle Member Brace / Middle Lower Bar
UR-ML2-3093

uneven road/ during cornering rebound - once before it stabilized
whole car swaying left to right (due to tall body design, i think) and feeling of steering wants to go left or right (due to electric steering common characteristic) when :
- trying to overtake bus/ lorry - eliminated
- trying to overtake cars - eliminated
- speed exceding - eliminated

no more car body swaying or steering wanna go left or right anymore....
maximum speed with 2 occupants, easily reach 180 km/h manage to slowly going up to 190 km/h
travelling at 180 km/h is a breezed with all the bar installed.

i am not suggesting you guys to travel at the speed above but i have to test to the max on whether the money i have spend for the UR bars is worth it or not.
Conclusion : Money well spend due to huge improvement on better stability and control of the car.

Sorry want to ask some noobie questions
1. What grade petrol you guys using? 95 or 97?
2. Does the door visors really help on soundproofing the car? I was quoted RM90 for 4 doors, the price ok?
3. Any Penang fren here can recommend good accessories shop in Island?
4. Any of you are using those fully cover windows sunshades? Does it practical and helps on preventing heat?
Thanks.

1. there is no performance advantage for RON97, i own a suprima s
2. they increase wind noise at high speed
4. only works to reduce abit of heat on your skin while driving but does NOT help at all while stationary

-Of course 95 new shell fuel, 97 better but waste money.
-Sunshade can buy at Broz acc penang lazada rm52 ringgit only, 4 pcs customized, window still can wind down. Very privacy and really protected from sunlight.
-Visor doesn't help much on soundproof, buy 5m small d rubber strip stick 1 circle around the 4 car door opening contacted place, will reduce the wind noise a bit when going above 80km/hr.

Thanks for the feedback.
1. Will go with 95 since 97 doesn't bring any worthy advantage.
2. Will skip the door visor then since it doesn't really helps and make the car less sexy. biggrin.gif
We can get the rubber strip at car accessorises shop right? Will ask them to stick since I don't think I can do a fine job.
4. Will get the sunshades from Broz as recommended by bro CKTang. Try this with the built in tint by Proton first, hope that it's sufficient to meet my requirement since really don't wish to spend extra on expensive tint.

To be optimistic, at least they retain the ESC and other important features, plus the MT drive is one of the smoothest I have driven before.
Something I really hope they include for the standard is built in speakers on 4 doors...

Today went to test drive persona premium spec .

It really nice experience. But the begining of pressing accelator it has a bit delay. The proton said its normal. But i think something us not right. At the end i think is the respond that i need to press harder a bit. But too powerful. Difficult to control speed.
