QUOTE(destee88 @ Jul 31 2017, 05:23 PM) fist time buy not 1 week rattle issue , common problem , FC comsumption is bad if run at highway with stop and go , thought it had good FC , the stupid eco asisit is useless. the brakes feel like no brake the car at all .. even got whatever BA , ABS or whatever braking system , the cars does not slow down , had to press quite hard ... check edy with SC they said is normal no issue for them ... So dun get fooled the features they put it just useless, only the air bags and the HPF steel is obvously show the advantages. but dunno air bags really work or not, cos i haven accident till air bags pops out yet .. FC always is not best strength for Proton Cars. If u insist FC you should buy Perodua |

QUOTE(Blueflame99 @ Aug 3 2017, 09:10 AM) Hi Sifus Nothing much problem from this car. All is small issues, just that u need go SC complaint every time but not guaranteed will solve your problem. I've just submitted my documents for Persona Premium. But lately in this thread I've seen some very negative comments. Can you enlighten me on the concerns? Should I cancel? Thanks for your time 😀 CVT - Don't drive like or expect it like Auto. You will noticeable some jerk in low speed or initial acceleration that is normal due to CVT clutch design. You will noticeable underpowered when going uphill or pick up when you collect car is due to CVT Clutch Adaptation have not done yet, either Go To SC to do initial adaption or DIY. Premium - Insist to get New HU Model , then you will free from lag and hang HU. - When u get New HU Model, IP noise kit already applied to your car. (No Worries). Collection of Car & Test it before u sign documents.(Sometimes u will miss out below this) - Check ur navigation maps which is a sd card , your SA will give u. - Ensure your 5 year free service that your SA already key in the voucher code into Proton System. - Check every bumper and paint whether fade or defect paint especially corner side - Check front and rear bumper alignment is correct , no bumps out. - Check reverse camera able to function normal This post has been edited by Maxwell6635: Aug 3 2017, 08:51 PM |

" Here u goes, you can do it yourself.May i know how to self do CVT Clutch Adaptation? If we do ourself, is it the exact same way we sent SC do for us? https://www.facebook.com/notes/dr%C3%A9x-ch...943881965641079 Is same as you sent o SC do for u , but they are using software to do , so u no need do until so hard keep changing gear. In additional, they also help u do throttle body adaptation plus timing reset together. They called it as First Initial Adaption |

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Aug 6 2017, 04:52 PM) Is tyre covered in warranty? I just noticed a bulge in my front tyre with less than 5k mileage. Since when tyre is manufactured with this poor quality...sigh what tyre is that ? U could try to claim the from Manufacturer of tyre instead of Proton, but you could ask Proton help u do claim. But I rmb the warranty is if ur thread depth pattern still within some MM then only can claim. This post has been edited by Maxwell6635: Aug 6 2017, 05:43 PM |

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Aug 6 2017, 06:10 PM) pot holes are everywhere in Malaysia man. is it possible that tyre bulges can be caused by potholes? i thought it is more like manufacturing defect. Mostly is because u hit pole holes , and just for FYI silverstone tyre is very soft that why always have this issues.silverstone tyre...i plan to head to proton service centre next week to enquire. if warranty doesn't cover then i'll probably go get the tyre changed in a tyre shop. Ya, you could try and enquire if not get a better tyre. |

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Aug 8 2017, 12:03 PM) just got my pregnant tyre changed. proton told me the tyre is mostly likely damaged due to pot hole as the bulge is at the side and this is not under warranty. if it is at the middle then warranty would have covered the damage. Oh I see, too bad for that.i plan to change all 4 of the tyres after some time since my silverstone tyres are still fairly new... apparently silverstone kruizer tyres do not have a good reputation lol Ya Silverstone not really good. Plan to change what tyre a. |
