Dear ktards, thinking of buying civic turbo as I like the car and driving experience is very joyful.
I'm driving 5yr old Camry 2.0 and will it be a wise move changing to civic? rclxub.gif

Some friends told me I'm downgrading but civic so tempting with new techs and turbo engine.
Please share your advise. Thanks notworthy.gif

You'll miss the comfort of your Camry. But the Civic will be very nice to drive, especially on the highway.

Your call...

Faster, more fuel saving, more comfort, and more larger. Eveything is better than civic except 2nd hand car.

You will sacrifice comfort for a lot more acceleration power. If you always carry rear passengers, then think twice. Civic rear seat mounted very very low, normally elderly people wont feel comfortable

Civic

-more power
-better FC
-better handling
-better looking

-better equipment level

Camry
-better comfort

Not exact the same experience, but I sold my old Camry 2.4 and bought a Civic 2.0 FB . Loved the drive, didn't like the height or the suspension. 8 months later, I traded it in for a Camry Hybrid. Now I'm a happy camper...

my haus has a 2.0 2014 accord and 2016 cibik 1.8.

i feel cibik is better in terms of power and handling.

however , the comfort is not as bad compared to accord.

My FB was pretty good overall. I just didn't like the low floor (tough to climb out when parking in cramped area) and the hard seats and suspension. But driving on highways was great, it's so smooth, you get to 150-160 kph without even realizing it...

I own a civic and a D segment car. All I can say is that the civic will surprise you. Space shouldn't be an issue. The only downside I can see if compared to Camry or a D segment car is perhaps it'll probably lose out on the nvh and perhaps it's seated lower. Space wise is very very competitive.
