What's the market price for a used 9853 ? I bought it 1 year plus ago for around RM1800

But the HU is not produced anymore, so i dunno how much should i sell it for.

9855 is RM1800 brand new now (my fren told me). At the time i bought the difference is RM200 for 9853.

Anyone bought a used 9853 HU recently ?

Yep. Very nice player. Although i dunno how to set most of the things haha.

Im upgrading the car haha. Since the new car comes with a built in HU so i think better to use it first. Maybe after 1 year i'll change the HU if necessary

is it true that if the HU is damn good, u dont need to change the stock speakers and still enjoy excellent audio?

i think it's true. Coz last time my previous car (wira) i bought a sony xplod HU, and the sound damn sucky man. No bass at all. Then i change to a blaupunkt HU, which is about the same price (honda city standard HU), the sound is much much better.

And my accord sv4 with the alpine 9853 was very very good. Stock speakers front and rear, and still i can hear all the bass, etc. And the speakers were 10 years old when i bought the HU
