Hi, any suggestions for a tv box that can send dolby digital 5.1 signals via hdmi or spdif/optical?

From what I can google, what I need is a tv box that can:

1 - transmit dolby digital 5.1 signals
2 - allow me to choose the audio format in the Android Sound settings



I have an old x96q pro box, but that seems to send only stereo lpcm signals via hdmi, and don't have the manual selection options. Also have the unifi plus box, that sends dolby digital signals, but only 2.0 dolby digital. There aren't any options to manually select the audio format.

Can the xiaomi/mi tv sticks/boxes output 5.1 signals, and still allow me to manually choose the format if the 'auto' option doesn't work?

Ok, this seems to work with my Unifi Plus box, to get 5.1 audio to my BDV-E380 player. The 'strange' option was to set the Number of channels value to 2.0, which then enabled AC3 transcoding.
