Im looking for a good android box in the range of rm200. I know this is a lowball value but I don't mind getting a second hand unit. The model, if can, able to install various apps like what we install in our android phone, easy to handle, and able to upgrade to latest android for future proof (easy to update like OnePlus, good customer service)

Any model to suggest? Can't wait to hunt this smile.gif
Will use this box for netflix and other streaming services.

If i read correctly, your primary is Netflix? If so then you'll best get a box able to stream Netflix HD 1080 at least, most boxes out there not able except for 2 handful of them. And yes it can be obtained for less than RM200 and they'll drop in 4k Youtube as well

Thanks for the reply! I believe this is my to go android tv device. Did a research about it, 1080p on this thing is flawless and 4k 30fps is okay which is a bonus to me. 4k features are only for future-proof purposes.

Andrewtst Sorry for troubling you man. That sure took some real effort to gather all information and arrange them in an orderly manner. Yes my budget is quite low, because I don't want to spend much for Netflix as Astro is still my primary source for series etc atm.

megahertz I read the first post before asking here. And maybe I misunderstood somewhere because I thought that those expensive Android TVs are exclusive for gaming and maybe hard-core stuff like you do normally on your flagship smartphone. That's why i believe even with cheap android tv, you can stream 4k media without a problem.

voncrane No hard feelings bro smile.gif, what you had said is no harsh at all hahaha. I did read before asking here, but Im not really familiar with android tv ecosystem. Never had one. The information on the first page is too in depth for me to understand. Also, a quick google search regarding android tv brought a lot of results with those illegal IPTVS (with android tv recommendation by the seller). I wonder why the recommendation there is different with here. That's why to clarify, I decided to ask for expert opinion here.

Since smartphones are getting cheaper, why not android tv too? That was my mindset before being explained by you guys here.

Sorry for the trouble! Have a nice day
