Hi Im getting a new TV box, hoping to be a cheaper alternative to Astro if possible. Someone introduced infinite, is this a good box especially for astro on demand shows, AEC , wah loi toi . I know infinite astro channels a bit issues especially during the world cup period, means most other boxes will have same issue too? when one box cant watch astro that period of time, other boxes similar fate at that period?

Please I am helping someone. I have no experience in HK tv  dramas (can't read/write Chinese) so need recommendation from anyone who uses it for sole purpose of watching HK dramas.

What's the cheapest but functional and problem free box out there with pre-installed apk for above purpose? Need at least HD quality and wireless connection. No need 5.1 sound. Tq.

*There's no such thing as a "TV Box".. Just a device "box" which is capable of various functions and abilities. These vary from device to device and service to service or app to app.
*None can truly replace Asterruk.. They can simulate or come close but never have the reliability and constant pq or complete features or customer service as Asterruk.
*There is no perfect or trouble-free box either. Even the king Nvidia Shield TV 2, also has its strengths and weaknesses. It's like cars.. There isn't a problem free or perfect car.. No manufacturer can guarantee it. There are only cars that are okay for your needs and you can tahan. All has faults.

The above has been repeated several times in this thread. Which is why I'm not surprised others aren't chipping in to extreme spoonfeed. Take some time out.. Forget anything else you think you know or been told by friends/sellers/FB posts, etc, and focus on the above 3 points. Then calmly read the page one throughly and the last 20 or so pages. Return when you have a more specific question or problem. Example, "I've narrowed down choices between box A and B..which is better for this, this and that, I want done...?"

You phrase like that, sure people assist.
