Hi there, I grew up watching VHS videos. progressed through VCD, DVD, Limewire and bittorrent. But this round ... the information overload of the simple setup of the TV Box is just a wee bit over-whelming for my aging mind. I've been reading a lot.

To keep things simple, I just need to know whether purchasing MX10 Pro TV box mainly for movies is good enough. I have a non smart flat panel TV which is 1080p.

And if there are any current users out there, what are the niggles and glitches that I should be aware of, if any.

Thank you loads. Have a nice day.

Read it a few times. Narrowed down my choices to MX10 Pro. Just need some re-assurance before the leap of faith.

I grew up similarly and its amazing to see how far tech has gone.. Movies are of different calibres.. if for low bitrate mkvs and mp4s it should be okay as almost all boxes (even Unifi's supplied STB can too) can handle such. Differences would be for performance and PQ. So yes, it's good enough UNTIL it isn't.. So if your needs are simple and or you'd rather not read up more on it, or go for more verified devices.. Then sure, go for the MX10 Pro..

P.S. Do a search on this thread or isolate my posts.. I looked at the MX10 Pro briefly, made some comments.. Verdict? Would not touch it.. But that's me.. up to you la. smile.gif
