Obviously it isn't a fair comparison. Just as the recommending basic channels to someone who's already used to Astrruk AND looking to "upgrade". The keyword being upgrade...meaning get at minimum the channels and or media content type they are used to and more.. Unfortunately basic doesn't apply there. But yeah, for someone who doesn't need the extras? You are right, it is okay.
The Nvidia Shield is not officially sold here in Malaysia, so there's no clear-cut warranty, etc.. Typically those who seek the Shield are already capable of setting it up/handling it. Additional AV equipment knowledge required as well. Else, it is most likely overkill. So best to just monitor prices and purchase from where you are most comfortable (or cheapest).. Roll the dice afterwards.
