guys....i am interested to do this. BDMV/ISO files stored on a NAS. I need a Android TV box capable of mapping to NAS to get the BDMV/ISO files. I heard Kodi can do it but I am a total idiot when it comes to these things. Himedia q10 pro and the minix u9-h can do this (so they tell me).

Which one to get ?

Grateful for any assistance rendered. thanks

Yup, both devices can handle such.. Kodi performs better on the Minix Neo U9-H vs the HiMedia Q10 Pro. The Q10 Pro is catching up though with its latest firmware and Kodi V17.5 update. So that's something to consider..

Thanks for your insights, anyone know who can help with Kodi setup for BDMV/ISO setup ?(i am hopeless at it) eg mapping to the NAS, setting up pass thru etc etc. I am located around the Selangor, Subang area.

any assistance is very much appreciated.

thanks

just got the himedia pro10. Upgraded to Android 7. Then to Himedia 2.05. My device info reads Kernel ver 3.18.24. Build no 2.05 2017-09-13.185132.
I am a complete noob. But how to i connect the HIMEDIA to my NAS to play BDMV/ISO files ? I kinda like figured out the apk thingy for Showbox, Megabox etc etc. Can't seem to find where to connect to NAS on the Himedia.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Was going to suggest using the native player then... Also, there's a 2.0.6 firmware update.. Has better support for BDMV playback and Kodi.. I recommend you download and install asap.
