sorry maybe out of topic but dun quite understand, why the iptv services is illegal? is that possible to own a box minus off all the illegal element? illegal here mean no copyrights?

i bought mine from lazada, i think its a t9 (is this a brand?), 4gb/16gb. i encounter something strange, the tvbox will auto start n render my tv to on as well, this happen 3 to 4 times in one day, sometimes in midnight, anyone have encounter similar problem? i go to setting but cant find anything like timer or autostart.
