Hi Im looking for a media player for my parent
criteria as below

1. Cheap
2. Easy to use (preferable plug and play. No fancy UI to just play a movie)
3. Support common formats: mkv, mp4, avi
4. no need HD (720p will do)
5. Can buy from online such as Lazada easily

How does TINYTECH Full HD1080 Media Player(MKV/RMVB) with HDMI compare with MECOOL M8S PLUS W Android 7.1 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM 2.4G Wi-Fi TV BOX

Intention is just watch USB movies (mostly come in mkv, Avi, rojak format)
No internet or WiFi at parent house

I don't understand why the Tinytech is more expensive if it can only play USB movies.
