can register up to 4devices, which can run simultaneous 2 devices if i remember well.
once u register to up 4 devices, the 5th devices u login to need to swap with current deviced logged in. they hv cap of how many can swap, around 4 times.
once max, then u need to wait it reset monthly.

How many devices per user ID Q&A:-

All info show in https://unifi.com.my/tv/packages/unifi-playtv.html

=====================
unifi TV pack subscribers would get complementary user ID that can be used on two devices at the same time.

You can also subscribe to a plan that enables five devices sharing.

Thanks to pointers given by @syumul, I finally able to play Astro On the go to my M8S box

Steps:
1) Boot to stock firmware recovery mode
2) Run TWRP311.zip
3) Install Magisk.zip
4) Reboot back to box
5) Install Magisk Manager
6) Hide AOTG

For other boxes, I believe steps are similar. You just need find a way to boot to recovery mode.

To @szecheng,
Few ways to run/install TWRP that I read:
1) Install custom rom/firmware for your box. Normally they include TWRP
2) Reboot to firmware recovery mode, run TWRP311.zip
3) Use the Firmware update function, choose local file TWRP311.zip and let box boot and run this file

Thx Astro Go working now on my rooted box. Thx thumbup.gif

I will try this on my old box too. Yeah, I will need to boot into recovery mode which I think I did before but I forgot.
How did you boot into yours?

Magisk Manager is a regular app to be side-loaded separately.. Download and install.. It's what connects and handles root hiding.. Think SuperSU..

Sorry just to confirm. Meant with this app, certain applications won't able to deduct the box was rooted n can continue to use?

Yes, that's the purpose of Magisk. Hide the root because certain apps cannot work with rooted devices, so it's tricking these apps. laugh.gif

Yep, as Fruitie says. I've been using it on my phone for awhile.. Hiding root from those pesky financial apps that think a rooted device must equal bad.
