Any plastic will scratch easily. What I usually do is get a pouch or bag for it so that it's protected.

Even putting my DS in the handbag, I still have a protective pouch over it.

Just how you take care of your DS. Gotta make a conscious effort to keep it better.

I'm waiting for the NDSi XL (US version) to come out. So am waiting.

The bigger screen attracted me and I'm not so worried about the lower battery life. I mostly play at home and it's usually connected to a very very long USB extension cord and USB charger. LOL!
