Hmm... IMHO if you can wait, better wait la since the 3DS is backward compatible with DS & DSi games. Plus the games downloaded from DSiWare is no longer tied to the particular 3DS machine... so if your machine goes kaput you can transfer to a new 3DS.. unlike the DSi or DSi XL
