This should be in flash-cart discussion.

And that red/green button there is for Rumble(vibration) feature if available.

Er no... its Force Restart...

Activating that button allow you to force restart your ds and go back to R4 screen with the press of ABLR simultaneously

Oooo.... so it is the same function as Power On/Off? Isn't it easier to turn off and on again than to acrobatically press 4 buttons simultaneously? or am i missing sumthing???

BTW, thanks Reveur rclxms.gif

I think it's like a Soft Reset.. pretty much the same thing as turning off and on tongue.gif
I remember they had a similar feature for certain games on PS1

All depends on personal preference I guess nod.gif

Shud give it a shot if you like a rpg game. this game is very lengthy and should last you for a while. really worth the money if you like it.

Does anyone have this Hori Protection Filter DS Lite?
user posted image

It's a Hori product and it provides inside out protection for the NDSl. There are 5 pieces compared to the Hori Screen Protector which has 2 pieces for top screen and touch screen only. Anyone has it? Care to share your thoughts about it?

I have it. imho, the upper and outer part sticker is useful as it can prevent scratches on it. but the inner part which consists of 2 stickers are not reli useful as it will only trap the dirt after playing for a while. after all, the inner part is always proctected when we dont play ds, so why bother?

I see. So I guess it's still best to stick with the conventional 2-piece Hori Screen Protector and get something else to protect the outer layer, say a Capdase Soft Jacket Advance.

Thanks for your reply bidfordun biggrin.gif

is there such thing as modded/flashed ndsl?
if there is , can i buy an un-modded version , then mod it at any shop around sg.wang?
if there is , whats the differences between modded and unmodded?
is it recommended to buy form play-asia? are their price much higher?

I don't own an NDSL.. yet. But I think I can try to answer some of your questions (they would probably suggest you to do a search first before asking lol laugh.gif )

Anyways,
1. This I'm not sure, as I don't have one.. yet.
2. There is, or rather there was such thing as modded/flashed NDSL. Last time when there wasn't Slot-1 "devices" like R4, TTDS.., NDSL required to be flashed to be able to enjoy some illegal and unethical enjoyment. However, with the introduction of mentioned devices, it is no longer needed/necessary for NDSL to be flashed.
3. Refer to 2.
4. I think it's okay to get NDSL games that you couldn't find locally from PA. As Play-Asia is a reputable site with trustworthy dealings albeit sometimes slow shipment (hey, it's free, you can't ask for too much biggrin.gif ). But if you're getting a console (like the NDSL itself), it's recommended to get them here locally. So if anything occurs, like a dead pixel or whatnot; you can easily seek for help. But stuff like games, accessories; a number of forumers prefer to purchase there, as Play-Asia offers a huge variety of those mentioned stuff. Often, the prices wouldn't differ THAT much; unless Play-Asia is on sale. Like today is the LAST DAY for the Year of Rat sales, so if you have any last orders, do it NOW!!!

That's all I guess icon_rolleyes.gif

there are no such thing exist. keep in mind, the supply voltage refer to the charger not the ndsl itself... im sure all nds charger come with 100-240 input voltage. so no need to worry about it..

yes it is.

i can't answer this question since i only know the basic knowledge about it... fyi, modded ndsl is useless nowadays..

buy from local shop... compare the price and u know what i mean... = local shop selling cheaper than playasia..

It used to be available at Play-Asia, apparently it is out of stock already. I guess majority would suggest you to pay a visit to Sungei Wang (if you're in KL/Damansara areas). Since they have like a thousand game shops there, even in Times Square also got some I think. So you might find them there. If you can't, I don't really know where else sweat.gif

If I'm not mistaken, the 110v/220v refers to the voltage of the charger for that particular version of NDSL. I'm not sure abt this, but I used to read about NDSL needing either a step down or step up charger for those different v de NDSL. You know, like how US and JP don't use the same er.. sockets? We use 220v ones I think, I don't really know unsure.gif Maybe I should shut up before I get scolded sorry blush.gif

jdreamer, looking for a stylo DS pouch / for practical use ?
you may want to consider .. the pocket book DS since play-asia has limited time promotion usd9.99. it offers towards the design more then the protection itself. but i just got myself one.
