hehe, i would say go for ndsi xl if u plan to upgrade. the upgrade might be the larger screen only but i think it worths it if u plan to upgrade it from phat. go for it man!

I am planning to get a dsi next week, had done research in sungaio wang and lowyat area, and the cheapest price I got for a full set dsi is RM780, whic inculdes:

1 dsi + stylus + charger
4gb memory (if not mistaken), R4
casing + screen protector

Tats all, is it considered expensive?? Where can I get a better offer?

(PS: I am aware of the fake (re-con) dsl in sungai wang area, which I really wish to avoid this. I am looking for original ndsi and I hope to get a reputable seller)

I had done some research on ndsl and ndsi, and even consulted my fren, but my fren still recommend me to buy ndsl instead of ndsi, since I just want to play game.

He said ndsi is same as ndsl, where ndsi only added the camera on it and with stronger wi-fi. If you didn't use those function, then go for ndsl since it is cheaper (around RM230 less) + GBA catridge. Plus, the flash card technology is still not matured for ndsi currently, and I will have to bear with the risk of buying a new flash card in the future, if I go for ndsi...

Yet, I had read some forum also, where there is one post claimed that in future, Nintendo will publish some games which will only be playable in ndsi, not ndsl, as those games will require the camera function. Plus, Japan had already stopped the ndsl production, and it seemed like ndsi will slowly takeover ndsl.

Well, seriously now I have to reconsider whether go for ndsl or ndsi. My friend said even though in the future, some games will only be playable in ndsi, but that will only apply to a few games. Most of the games will still be compatible for both ndsl and nds; and by that time also, Nintendo will publish nds2 console instead of others upgraded version of nds.

So is there any recommendation for it? Whether go for ndsl or ndsi, provided I just want to play games.
