is very useful if he is cruising 120km/h in highway, can help stabilise the car...

ya it'll push the rear wheels down so that the front wheels have less grip. so when the fella wanna do some emergency manuvering at 120km/h will less grip sure die

It is bad for the car unless if his car is a rear wheel drive.
All he's doing is decreasing his top speed and adding weight to the car.

Then I guess the spoiler on F1 and Veyron should be at least 30 feet high.

I find spoilers like this is very practical in daily life. You can hang your clothes on the spoiler and make it as a goalpost for games like football and in this case, rugby, since the spoiler is so high

it's called "SPOILER" so it's meant to spoil the look and handling of the car . winglets, spoilers etc are specially designed and placed and tested to ensure performance enhancement - i dun think those cap abang spoilers went through such process.

everytime i drive behind those cars with these giant spoilers, i try to back off or change lane cos they look like they will fly off the boot any moment.

This reminds me of my visit to my aunt's place. What I saw was the most horrible looking spoiler in the world!
It was n a Mazda RX-7, it had two cylinders attached to the spoiler. WTF was that for!!!
Like one wing, which looked okay. But as you scan either ends, you can see two empty cylinders attached to it. It was attached at the top, if I could remember correctly. Kinda look like two jet engines.

It would be better if it were fire spitters, but they weren't. The cylinders were empty, imagine sticking a tin can with the bottom and top cut off and attached to your spoiler.

most the car putting spoiler/gt-wing also just for the look... which it adding around 20-1000bhp...

Don't worry.. You can flame owner RX-7 like crazy and he still don't know about it. Unless you post the picture..
