16Feb2017/KL 0230hrs - Makluman Awal Kemalangan Maut (KJR) di Jalan Tun Razak menghala IJN berhadapan Perpustakaan Negara melibatkan dua buah kereta BMW&Myvi. Menurut saksi kereta BMW melawan arus dan bertembung dengan kereta Myvi. Driver Kereta Myvi maut ditempat kejadian..
how in the hell you can drive lawan arus at jalan tun razak???
how from lorong kuda boleh masuk jalan tun razak on thw wrong lane????cannot brain.....bingungg sebentar
The only possibility I can think of is entering through the KLCC underpass exit lane near the PNB Darby Park. That's the only possible way you can access the contra flow lane of the Jalan Tun Razak flyover if you come from Lorong Kuda/KLCC. Till then there's no U-turn until Titiwangsa.
Not sure why people said she came from Lorong Kuda. Looks like there are multiple witnesses to this incident. It's also possible that she could have already entered the contra flow lane from Zouk or Pavilion

Not drunk and continue driving on the highway with the road arrow markings pointing at you without fear. She got balls of steel. I can only imagine she starts to panic and made irrational decisions.

I read the FB post and people at the accident scene said that the driver excuse is she got confused with road after returning from australia.
Australia got left hand drive meh? All Right hand drive and drive on left side like us LOL. Rly mcb the driver one
Exactly. I thought Commonwealth nations all are RHD? No?
And the point is the moment you see the arrows pointing at you, any sane drivers should immediately feel something is wrong. Doesn't matter LHD or RHD country. What kind of an excuse is this?

when i wrote this, i was making an assumption of this accident . i didn't knew that she make the same excuse. What we should know about this case is that someone had went into the wrong lane. I mean this is quite serious . The road is obscure and driver may thought that she is not driving in opposing lane if there's no car coming from the opposing lane a.
When there's less car, thing s may get more rowdy at night. Im not sure where this road was but i think to avoid future mishaps, there should be a serious study into this accident. those who studied this thing, they should know what factors that could cause this kind of accident and all it takes is just one accident to fail the system.
How can this be obscure when the arrows kept pointing at you throughout the entire drive?
This is common sense that you are already know you are driving against the traffic flow.

at night, can't see the fading arrow too. She did went into the tunnel on opposing lane. so she was drawn into the wrong lane. already happened. do u want to see another person died just because u think one driver make the only mistake. why not saving another life in future.
Then what is your foolproof solution to prevent wrong way driving 100% in the future?
In fact there are locations with higher statistics of head on collision, like single carriageway trunk roads, but people still overtake on the double solid line. Blame the road?

That's why I hate driving in KL at night. While the law is still not strict enough, I continue to have anxieties driving because of all these cowboy-style drivers on the road no matter how many years of experience I have
I just thought for a while, what if the driver during the incident is not her?. Since all escape with light injury they could switch place and change their story.
The car has 3 more PRC passengers. If one of them is the driver then accidentally drove on the wrong way due to unfamilarity is plausible provided that the driver already entered the wrong way from Zouk and the fact that it's LHD in China
Or she quickly swap driver with the PRC passengers after the crash so that she can create an alibi? Ie not on the driver seat
