When I saw that it's a good deal, I PMed him offering RM700 for the unit. He confirmed to sell the unit to me. Then later in the thread, he still promises other people his unit as he said highest offer is 750 which is clearly not me.


At night, when I asked him, he said the unit is reserved for me, so I gave him the benefit of doubt thinking that may be the other buyer has canceled the confirmation. I asked him whether he has the receipt and how old is the unit, he bought it from a forumer here and told me its 2 weeks old (I've deleted his PM). Then I asked him whether the warranty is transferable. And he replied this,


Thinking that the unit is 2 weeks old, its reasonable that he didn't register it yet. Then I asked him whether it is 5G or 5.5G, he replied,

I also told him I'm a serious buyer and willing to COD this weekend at Shah Alam. And he replied,



So it get very suspicious now, first he told me the unit is 2 weeks old, now he's saying its 2months old. Then he deny about his K750i case, 2 forumer is not happy with him because of it. So for the benefit of all the LYNer here, I asked for his HP


I replied I'll decide tomorrow (1/3/07).

He makes it hard to keep track of our conversation as he never reply to my message, instead, he PM me to make the conversation a new one. Now, I'm pretty sure that this guy is dishonest in many ways and I hope that admin can give him a dispute tag so that LYNers can be warned.

well,i think mod wont give disput tag to him anyway,he's not cheating u right?sinc u r not dealing with him yet,COD is the best way u can check out the item,if it's match to the item and warranty status that he mentioned,that's mean he's not cheating u lo....but if not,just dont buy from him and walk out.

ur weird u know that. i never even conned u!! i asked u to COD, u didnt say anything and now ur accusing me of sumthin so silly. i bought it 2months ago and i just started using it 2 weeks ago. the highest offer i got is RM750 but the dude said wait till next week. then u came and offered RM700 so i agreed coz i need to sell it quickly.

so what is the problem here? why am i bein suspicious to u?

Errrr.. it's about being dishonest of the date of purchase or what? I think it's just misunderstanding.

He's not cheating in monetary terms, but he did cheat me in giving misleading info.

How about the fact that you FFKed another forumer? Why did you deny that? If you admit to it, I may have trust on you to deal with you, but no, you demied it.

Added on March 2, 2007, 8:27 am1. Promised same item to more than one buyer.
2. Denying that he FFK other seller and again, promised same item to two buyers.
3. Inconsistent answer about age of product.
4. One more thing I didn't mention was he was unable to give the forumer's nick who he bought it from. I can't confirm the fact that he don't have a reciept because he bought via LYN.
