My 2nd review of iPhone 7 Plus after 3 months 20 days of usage.



What I like

• Design & Build - Very solid and elegance.
  
• Screen & Quality - Even though it is not SAMOLED but it is a very high quality great color reproduction LCD. The screen is very very very nice! The nicest I ever own for LCD which I said it is as good as Samsung SAMOLED display.
  
• App Store - Every time when I think of something I want for, I sure can get it by searching on it. Nearly all the apps is very well build and the interface is solid and nice looking. Also the App Store is changing quality apps display every week with one free apps of the week. This never happen in Android and Android keep showing same or no quality apps in main page which make people feel like Playstore is less apps but actually it is not, just Google dunno how to promote apps like what Apple did.
  
• Apps & Games - Some same apps in iOS is better build than in Android. As for gaming experience, iOS is far ahead, much smoother and certain apps is much nicer look.
  
• Music - I really love Apple Music, no regret sign up and will continue the subscription. For Android user in Malaysia can just subscribe to Spotify which have same service and same price. In this part I find both is same win.
  
• Camera - The camera is very awesome output with very fast focus.
  
• Apps Interface - iOS interface is well done and you can't find any glitch on it, it is very well build, every part is well design, all icons & interface had a standard control in high quality, not like Android certain apps icon is very bad build and seems no control on it.
  
• Gesture - Seems not much people talk on the gesture function in iOS, it is actually very well done where make you easier to go back or forward by swiping in nearly all apps. Swipe down to minimize the video or photo view in the apps. Also the double tab to go top is very useful. I give big thumbs on this small design gesture.
  

What I Dislike

• Fingerprint - The worst fingerprint I ever use! Slightly dirt or wet will make it totally not functioning. Even though it recognition is very fast but this cannot handle when dirt or wet make it the worst fingerprint in mobile on earth!
  
• Photos - The worst photo album I ever use, please don't improving those tag, not much people actually use it. The basic create album folder also don't have, all create folder is just simply a shortcut, very annoying everything still appear at Camera Roll.
  
• Music - I like it but also dislike it, the stability on this apps is bad, it keep FC when you browse a lot of Apple Music to find new song. (still happen like this even on latest iOS).
  
• Stability - Certain apps can make the phone not ring when people calling, sometimes the sound became distortion when notification coming in during you listen to Music, certain apps sometimes the update unstop and keep update, the only way to stop it is remove the apps and re-install back, certain apps just FC after install or during the halfway usage and etc. Even though it is not much happening but it is there. I actually found Android is much more stable and less issue now, at least in my last few Android phones I don't find single issue or FC at all.
  
• App Store- I love it but also hate it, why Apple restricted apps to be download if more than 300 MB by using Mobile Data (it mentioned 100 MB but actually is around 300 MB). This is very very stupid, I know the good point of restricted it but at least it shall let user enable it.
  
• Apps Interface - Apple is well control on fragmentation and quality control but why they is still have apps not optimize for high resolution. Those apps shall be removed and forced developer update it.
  
• Camera - the second camera boots up too much ISO and make the photo output very bad most the time. Also why still no wide mode. I know can use third party apps but I prefer original stock have it.
  

What I find it useless

• Force Touch - This just make finger paint and use more energy, I don't see any different than using press and hold to activate the same function. This hardware is extremely unnecessary.
  
• Widget Page - This page I put there for fun and never use it, it is like kindergarten job when compare with Android widget which not only can make your home screen unique and nice but also functional to be home page.
  

What Stock App I don't use

• Safari - The page scrolling is too slow. I prefer Chrome as it scroll fast not page by page.
  
• Stock Keyboard - I no longer use type since 5 or 6 years ago. Is time implement swipe. Lucky got Gboard else I will be stuck in typing.
  

What I wish in future iOS update & next iPhone

• Swipe function - This shall be an option in stock keyboard.
  
• Themes - Is time to implement, at least let user theme the icon.
  
• Edge to Edge - Is time use edge to edge display, reduce the top and bottom bezel.
  
• No home button - I really hope the rumors is true, remove the home button and implement the Touch Bar.
  
• Design - Is time to give iPhone a new look
  

What will be my next future mobile phone - Definitely the next iPhone. 

All my current install apps & games in my iPhone 7 Plus. I think the most apps and games I ever install for mobile phone till date.

It's no use just procrastinate here ok? Bring it up to apple pls.

I don't have to proof myself in been Isheep. Just search how long I have been active as android user.

Left my phone in car under hot sun my iPhone was so hot to touch when I got back to my car 3 hours later. Hopefully it didn't suffer any permanent damage to its hardware or battery

This calls for a new phone ip8!! I think they will improve the fingerprint reader for ip8 haha

If major market ppl feedback and enough complaints, go up the press etc. they will listen. If in Malaysia, they don't even bother set up official Apple Store here. They won't care.

Imagine their sales here only 0.001% of their global sales, then only 1/3 ppl complain here. U do the math. Their concentration is US/China/India.

I once bought a Pixel phone from Google. Biggest mistake of my life. 2 weeks later back to iOS. Hahaha

Finally I success selling off my iPhone.

S8+ too tempted.

Battery life cannot fight with iPhone 7 Plus. You shall smile if you can not charging during working hours.

I'm reading 5 hours SOT on the average for most people with the S8+. That's fairly average considering my previous Mate 8 does 6-7 hours SOT - but that's the only thing the Mate 8 is good for, heh heh...

Sigh, so quiet on the Apple front.... Android has new toys in the S8, S8+ and U11. Come on, Cupertino! Get a move on it!

I saw those drop test video on S8 and S8+ breakability score
it's very horrible.. once your phone accidentally drop, the screen and back will be cracked

My 2 cents : android is better if you are using apps other than found in Play Store to streaming videos. If you use mobile browser only, then there will be no issue as both platform is almost the same.

If you are used to snapping photo/video & instantly uploading into Instagram then forget that convenience in iOS. You have to manually go into Instagram every time to upload a photo. No shortcuts from the Photo app or from camera.

Also for notifications, I realized Android handles it much better than iOS due to grouping of notifications and no chance of missing any notifications. In iOS, there are possibility of the app not displaying or not providing notifications (at least from my own experience).

Again, this is from my own experience using Nexus and iPhone 7+. Though now I use iPhone as my primary phone due to its security & office requirement.

hmm i dont do photography for a living but i do like to upload pictures and videos. Compression do bother me and i nvr knew it was not affecting ios apps. thanks for your helpful advice

had a friend who used LG G4, he changed to iP7+ and he said that iPhone is better. But for me, I've got a Huawei P9 and I think my P9 better than my 7. Not sure la, everyone has their own opinions.
