Everything works perfectly, but i'm having a minor issue with Whatsapp where it didnt notify me with new msgs until i open the app itself. Was it normal?

Hi Guys! I finally got myself into the IOS ecosystem by getting the 7 plus...
Everything works perfectly, but i'm having a minor issue with Whatsapp where it didnt notify me with new msgs until i open the app itself. Was it normal? |
