Thanks. I have checked it and it seems like the warranty period is inaccurate (ending on March 18). But i have sent email to apple to rectify it. Thanks again

My wife's 2 days ip7 screen just froze and had to force reboot. Anyone else facing this issue?

Apple warranties start on the date of the first retail purchase. Our records show that the purchase date has already been established as March 16, 2017 with warranty coverage through March 15, 2018."


So my phone is not a new set? Feels cheated by directD.

Just called just now but the lady said i wrongly input the serial number. How many serial number are there? I thought only 1. Even Apple team check also stated the retail purchase date is on march 2017.

If based on the purchase receipt it is RM3489.62.
Planning to go there next weekend as I'm not in KL atm.
Hopefully can get new set.

Settled already. Their staff mistakenly sold March promo unit (RM3199) and the warranty for the promo units started in March (although i dont understand why and how). They still claim it is a new unit, not used/refurbished/display unit.

Offered me 500 refund to continue with the unit, or get new replacement set.

Hi, I noticed that probably u also bought the promo set just like me since the price is 3199 (promo price during March). Most of the questions at that lazada page also about warranty ending feb next year.

According to my retailer, all promo set was distributed to them with the warranty already being activated eventhough they are still new set.
