Yup can't deny that. Some angle pixel xl lose to ip7+, some the other way around.
But in low-light condition, ip7+ is lose far behind. Hope ip8 will be far more better.

As per apple's advertisement, portrait mode is meant to be used on good lighting conditions. That's why there will be a prompt when a photo is taken using portrait mode without good lighting conditions. I only realised this yesterday. Hehe.

I had the Mate 8 for a brief period of time and the Mate 9 Pro's shot here is like a 1000 times improvement over it. Kudos to Huawei.

Let's see what tricks Apple will have up its sleeve when the new iPhone gets unveiled. 6 months or less now...

Thanks to Leica tech perhaps? Since I'm using the P9+ I can see much improvement since Mate 8 too.
But Huawei struggle with White Balance though.

Ya, most likely due to the Leica stuffs smile.gif

Having looked again at your daylight photos I can see what you mean with the white balance. Still, I think it's mostly acceptable compared to the excuse of a camera on the Mate 8, ha ha...

From this comparison, we now know why people keep dissing the U Ultra laugh.gif
HTC should bring the same from Pixel to U Ultra.
