Cool With sim card, and depending on signal strength, and with 4G on , see how the performance would be like.

QUOTE(haroldz123 @ May 30 2017, 06:56 PM) I just update to 10.3.2 n the battery life is very good I read somewhere that its good practice charging it early rather than letting it drain to the minimum. Reason being, by doing so, the phone is not subjected to high heat during fast charging. For me if the phone can last for the full day when I am on data, I'm a happy chappy I usually recharge the phone when 50% left so i dont know how long full charge can last Bought UAG plasma case too. I am using ringke max before. Was planning to get thin case but afraid it will get stretch over time |

QUOTE(soitsuagain @ Jun 25 2017, 05:00 PM) I have been using the ipad charger for my ip4, ip5S, ipSE, ip6, ip6+ and ip7 to no ill effect. It does get warmer than the stock charger but for much less time. I have yet to have any of these phones battery failed yet. But must partner with capable chargiing cable. I only use Anker armoured lightning cables.FYI the phone gets warmer if playing intense graphics games such as war tortoise etc. |

QUOTE(iamloco @ Jul 4 2017, 08:16 AM) Reply from Apple: So bro, what did directD say about this issue?"We reviewed your request and, regrettably, are unable to update the purchase date of your IPhone. Apple warranties start on the date of the first retail purchase. Our records show that the purchase date has already been established as March 16, 2017 with warranty coverage through March 15, 2018." So my phone is not a new set? Feels cheated by directD. If the phone I bought was advertised as new, I would want my money back from the vendor. Since the vendor is a well known vendor, I am sure your issue can be resolved. |

QUOTE(iamloco @ Jul 4 2017, 09:43 AM) Just called just now but the lady said i wrongly input the serial number. How many serial number are there? I thought only 1. Even Apple team check also stated the retail purchase date is on march 2017. Ayooo..... best if you go and meet the vendor to clear this up. |

QUOTE(eternity4av @ Jul 4 2017, 03:28 PM) is it? it's already 8/9 months now. i doubt any official phone accessories have warranty beyond like 6 months? Apple do provide warranty for their cables however for defects from factory. Defects due to wear and tear I don't thick possible. I remember during my time using iphone 4, i tried warranty replacement, however due to some damage to the outer sheath of the cable, my claims were denied. Anyway those apple supplied one does not last and do a fairy crappy job, so best rely on other cables. Pay a bit more but you do get the performance and reliability. |

QUOTE(eternity4av @ Jul 4 2017, 03:13 PM) my official lightning cable already spoilt, any recommendations? where can i get the anker powerline on physical stores? I did look for these exact cables but couldnt find here. So I opted with the nylon braided version. Been using it for a year and it has been reliable. Its capable of supplying 2A too. Partner it with the 12Watt ipad charger, my ip7 charge time lessen considerably. For RM70@0.9meter length, its a good buy. Another brand that you could also look at would be the Aukey lightning power cables. They also come in nylon braided armor. Comparable performance but Anker is better. Those are around RM55. Google and the local distributor is listed. |

QUOTE(lyc1982 @ Jul 4 2017, 04:31 PM) Definitely the kevlar ones offer ultimate robustness compared to the nylon versions. But those do have the price factor. Been using the nylon braided ones and honestly, they do well for my usage. |

QUOTE(iamloco @ Jul 5 2017, 12:03 AM) Settled already. Their staff mistakenly sold March promo unit (RM3199) and the warranty for the promo units started in March (although i dont understand why and how). They still claim it is a new unit, not used/refurbished/display unit. Good to hear you got your issues settled. With reputable vendors, sure settle one.Offered me 500 refund to continue with the unit, or get new replacement set. Enjoy your new phone. |

QUOTE(lyc1982 @ Jul 5 2017, 10:28 AM) i see... Those kevlar versions during my time were much dearer. If given the choice, I'd go for the kevlar versions. But before committing, check its model type with the MFI listing. It should be listed as those nylon braided ones I'm using are certified by apple safe to be used.a quick check on lazada both types selling roughly same price... so you would suggest to go for kevlar if they are of same price ? QUOTE(holoman @ Jul 6 2017, 05:22 PM) is it possible to transfer contact & whatsapp ( all contains ) only via itunes ? frm iphone to iphone Yes, iphone to iphone full transfer would be to do a full backup with password in iTunes. The when you put in the new iPhone, choose to do a full restore which will then be prompted with backup password. Then follow through. |

I still remember when I was at Maxis@Paradigm Mall, getting my ip7, there was this other dude that had a lemon but Maxis replaced it there and then with another unit. This should be the way as there was definitely a defect from the factory unit.

QUOTE(kamikraze @ Jul 12 2017, 09:01 AM) Yes for retail price RM3199, and there's plenty of cheaper option available such as from Lazada, 11stree and so on. Still can't find as low as 2.6k. For 32gb is only for testing, can't say I'd use Iphone for long. Lowest around 2.8k. If you are away from iTunes then 32Gb may be a bit troublesome but manageable IMHO. Just needs to upload photos/videos more frequent than if you have a 128Gb or 256Gb versions. Good catch at those prices, congrats Yeah, already cod last night for both. Not that kind of too good to be true price. I consider a bit below average only. When Iphone 8 announce, plenty will start to sell their Iphone 7. For both unit, I saved around RM500, like 10% discount only. Well still better than no discount at all right. |

QUOTE(timo1003 @ Jul 14 2017, 01:06 PM) Hi, anyone who's had any experience with the particular seller T-Mobile in 11street? I'm looking at this phone atm.. Trustworthy to proceed? From their page looks like based in PJ. Also a power seller with 99% rep. Should be good to go.11street Appreciate the feedback.. |
