Thanks man. But I don't think I'm the only one with touch id issues, some of my friends unit oso like that. Mine got so bad that I couldn't even register a fingerprint and I couldn't tahan anymore. It was working great for the first month so I'll keep an eye on my replacement unit, will report again one month later hehe

But still, u walked the talk. Kudos man!

Ya as I mentioned, monitor it. I hear cases it will get worse over time. It if it keep happening after many set changes, start questioning ur finger skin getting thinner also. Coz my mom cannot use Touch ID coz she always use soap. Skin thinning issue.

U looked at s8 leaks yet? Damn chun design. If Apple still shake balls and don't buck up, serve them right for ppl moving back to Samsung.

Coming from S7E - to some yes the S8 design is gooding but the optimisation is another thing(despite my S7E is on Nougat - early adopters from beta ROM)

S7E is on top of all among Androids (no denying) in terms of hardware and software - Huawei Mate 9 Pro came close(I would rate it 2nd)
The reason I switch is because of long term software support - Nexus 6P is good but since Google changed of policy I had to look for others

Many switch to iPhone bcoz of os. Not hardware. Those switch from iOS to android due to hardware, will sooner later jump back bcoz cannot stand the lack of os support and polish of apps.

Minority of those don't switch back to iOS , too sick and bored of same old Apple gadget same design year in and out. Wait until major design changes like ip8 then switch back.

Totallee has ultra thin case that will make your phone look like Jet Black iPhone, similarly with Peel and Caudabe.

But from user feedback, it seems that the gloss finish will faded within 2 weeks.

Hey guys just an off topic question regarding my usage of iPhone 7+ .

If I were to block a caller let's say from the address book.

And this caller calls me up. Will he or she receive any notification on me blocking all the calls, messages and etc??

Please advise
*
nope. when call it will directly go to voicemail or just say your caller is not answering

messages i dont think will show "Delivered" if using imessage. other than that no notification at all.

kindly let us know the replacement unit works. had the same exact problem but still stupidly go and change screen protector.

mine was so bad most of the time i had to use passcode. the fingerprint reader just wont take it.

other cheaper android phones are doing well. very disappointed with 7 plus this time.

On the topic of blocked caller,
If I blocked a number and delete it from the phone.
Does it mean that the caller will be permanently blocked from contacting my number?

Later if I don't want my number and it goes to a new user.
Will the caller number be be still blocked from contacting the new user?

I think the answer will be no and it depends on the phone actually. The phone blocks the caller id on your behalf but it is not completely as I mentioned in my reply as per above. And nothing to do with the telco carrier such as digi maxis and celcom.

Unless you tell me that new user is using your old unformated phone aka direct hand mi downs lol then yes it will be blocked

I see. That means it is blocked on that particular phone itself.

Is anyone not using a screen protector for your iPhone 7 or 7 plus here? Is the screen prone to scratches? I read articles and also complaints on Apple discussion forum about fine hairline scratches on the screen days or weeks after use even with careful handling. They said iPhone 7 screen scratches more easily than the previous models.

That is my opinion based on my testing lol. Why would you worry if the blocked caller can contact the new user or not
