http://www.redmondpie.com/how-to-fix-bad-i...ery-life-guide/for me my suggestion is not to charge at night time as I noticed the charging is quite fast.
if you overcharge it might result in faulty battery in long run.
The battery in smartphones nowadays will not turn faulty due to overcharge, I have read this article somewhere on the net proving that when the battery percentage reaches 100%, it will eventually stop receiving the power from the cable so that's why overcharging will not happened, not sure if it is true tho.

thanks alot bro for the lead!
by the way, at what percentage is the best to charge your phone.
apple says best charge not less than 20%.
any better method than this?
imo just charge whenever you want! Because for me let's say im heading out in an hour and im at 45%, I will just charge it instead of needing to wait for the battery level drop to 20+% then only charge it.. But fyi normally I will charge at around 30% till full.
