yeah.. if can avoid over charging would be a safe bet.

i personally use powerbank to charge the phone overnight.. once its 99-100% auto cut off the charging.. lower risk i hope     

but not all power bank auto off when low current draw from device, usually is your phone reach 100% drawing very little current, the power bank auto off some power bank will auto off, just not all

Me too. Was bored with my 7 Plus so I bought the S8 last month to try and thought it would entertain me till the next iPhone comes about... Ended up listing the phone for sale yesterday.
