Left my phone in car under hot sun sad.gif my iPhone was so hot to touch when I got back to my car 3 hours later. Hopefully it didn't suffer any permanent damage to its hardware or battery sad.gif

If no warning I believe shall be ok. Just turn off and let it cool down and later turn on back.

No warning popup for extreme high temperature? If it was off, 45c is the max.

Yes no warning. Phone fully functional when I open it.

Becareful. Malaysia weather and global warming, my car wood trim melted b4 bcoz I replaced windscreen witthout enough time to reinstall back tinting.

Best is u hold the phone so that the ports face directly to the air con vent and let it cool for a while b4 switching on and using. But too bad if u have the auto screen wake feature enabled.

Left my i7+ jet black once in my car in the trunk for the afternoon due to the premise cannot bring in phone due to privacy purpose..after 5pm upon take my phone out realized my phone is hot a* cry.gif its been 2 months now battery still lasting thou. hope no after effect bangwall.gif

Note: own silver i7+ before. It does not collect heat as much at Jet black (JB heat up faster, maybe due to the natural of the colour)

Can confirm this. My first i7+ (silver) fingerprint works well, after a month its just getting slower and slower.
Got my JB i7+ later and its working fast again but now after two months can feel its not that accuracy and fast anymore...

How does the JB i7+ performs in other aspects?

I think you should either restart your phone, clear up all the ram by doing the power button switch and home button or clean your home button with wet wipes.

I do all three from time to time and it works well so far

Try deleting all existing fingerprints and administer them again. It works for me.

Apple rarely listen to their consumer's request features on their next device.
If they take this account, the improvement might take into next few gen to implement.
Coz more to like than dislike, mostly once stick to iOS, no turn over.
That's how beauty the iOS actually.
