TLDR:
-€60m offer for Juventus winger Kingsley Coman, 21 years old this year. (Lookup his statistics from last year here: https://www.whoscored.com/Players/125883/Show/Kingsley-Coman). Is that our backup for Alonso or Willian or Pedro? icon_idea.gif
-Oh, to those who want Sanchez... other than his training outburst where he was benched in a later match, hear news he asked Arsenal for £250,000 per week. That makes him highest salary in Chelsea if he come here? blink.gif
-Kante scored 2 goals so far... all against MU. Our next match against MU in April, Kante to score again? biggrin.gif
-By the way, well done to our team. Despite Mou attempts to tackle hard our key players like Hazard, at one point even Alonso and Kante got tackled hard by them. Our players beginning to gel together. I was hoping Batshuayi got some games under his belt, it is sad if he indeed leaves us after this season.

Chelsea have made an offer for Kingsley Coman — report

Reports coming out of France suggest that Chelsea FC have made an offer for French winger Kingsley Coman, who is currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Juventus, where he was signed by current Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte.

Breaking | Chelsea have made a €60m offer for Juventus winger Kingsley Coman, according to Téléfoot - the situation http://goo.gl/veV2WM
7:28 PM - 13 Mar 2017

For Coman, the reports come at a tumultuous time in his Bayern career. He is nearing the end of his two-year loan at the Bavarian giants. They have a choice to make his stay permanent in an £18 million deal, and are perhaps being indirectly urged to take up that option with these transfer rumors. Given that teams may be willing to pay €60m for Coman, a deal at £18 million should be a no brainier for Bayern.

However, Coman had played a lot more under previous manager Pep Guardiola than he has under current boss Carlo Ancelotti. Coman has started only six games this season, a significant drop from last season’s 27, when he also scored six goals and added twelve assists in all competitions.

Chelsea aren’t alone on their rumored desires for Coman’s services, with Guardiola possibly looking for a reunion at Manchester City to the tune of £50-60 million. Bayern could possibly exercise their buy-option and then turn around and sell straight away (like Real Madrid were rumored to be doing so with Alvaro Morata last summer), should any of this supposed interest be true. Coman may have had a disappointing season, but he retains plenty of residual value due to his age (just 20) and previous performances at the highest level of European football.

Already capped 11 times by France, Kingsley Coman could fit seamlessly into Conte’s front three; he would have no problem playing the style that has made Pedro and Willian so successful. His breathtaking speed, quickness, and tenacity could be a perfect foil to Eden Hazard for years to come.

Alexis Sánchez semi-outrageous contract demands at Arsenal revealed — report

Meanwhile, a “massive offer from a rival club” is already on the table
by Fellipe Miranda and David Pasztor Mar 10, 2017, 2:07am GMT

Source: http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/che...contract-update

Ah, schadenfreude.

For the umpteenth time in recent years, Arsenal have once again become the source of much joy and merriment for non-Arsenal fans. Beyond just the humiliation and capitulation they’ve shown against Bayern Munich in the two legs of their knockout round elimination with matching 5-1 losses both home and away, there’s their annual implosion in the Premier League (which might actually take them out of the top four this time around), as well as all the palpable discord happening with Alexis Sanchez and, to a lesser extent, Mesut Ozil, their two biggest stars.

Arsene Wenger’s all too steady management, once considered a good thing, but nowadays just a guarantee of seemingly inevitable and unending disappointment, could possibly be ending this season after 20 years in charge, but that may come as too little too late to keep Alexis, who’s fresh off of a training ground row with his teammates and several weeks of general sulking on and off the pitch.

Sanchez’s contract is set to expire next summer — so they’re a good 8-9 months past the ideal renewal time — and while earlier rumors claimed that the Chilean superstar was demanding upwards of £300,000 per week, according to the Guardian, those demands are more like “just” £250,000. However, they are supposedly non-negotiatable.

Either figure is likely to be outside the boundaries of Arsenal’s much vaunted wage structure, which opens up possibilities for other rich teams like Chelsea. The Guardian does claim that there’s supposedly “a massive offer from a rival club on the table” for Alexis, which basically means that it’s either the Blues or the red half of Manchester, two of Arsenal’s classic modern rivals and one of just a handful of teams who could afford to pay that much to a 28-year-old.

While £250,000 would make Alexis just about the highest paid player at Chelsea, it would not be tremendously more than we’re paying Hazard or Costa or Fàbregas. While there are no doubt plenty of other big clubs tracking the situation — Juventus are often brought up, for example — all in all, Arsenal's woes could very well become Chelsea's fortune next summer.

Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United, FA Cup: Post-match reaction

Going to Wem-ber-ley!

Source: http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/201...-match-reaction

After the back-n-forth of the first half, the second was all Chelsea, with the winner coming from an unlikely source in N’Golo Kante. With any luck, it could’ve been a lot more — lost count of the number of close calls in front of De Gea’s goal — but a win’s a win, and in the end all that matters.

Onto the semifinals. Wembley, here we come!

Kante has two goals for Chelsea, both against United. We play them again in April, if you want to mark your calendars for N’Golo’s third golo.

United lucky to finish this game with 10 men, let alone 11. For all his complaining about Hazard getting fouled over the past few years, Mourinho set his team out to do just that.

The usual switch to the 3-5-2 didn’t happen until the 80th minute. Zouma the first defensive sub in the last couple minutes after Moses picked up a knock.

The draw for the semifinal round is coming up shortly. One of Manchester City, Arsenal, and Spurs await. Tough matchups, either way.

Next up: Stoke City away on Saturday, then it’s a two-week international break.

- Everton tries to negotiate new contract with Lukaku by including this get-out clause at £90m. They feel MU and Chelsea can afford to pay £60m-£70m clause.
- Alan Shearer comments on our FA cup match against MU. He says Herrera knows his duty well in this match; to stop Hazard. We are lucky to have Hazard who is our Magician full of tricks movements.

- Someone ask Conte to choose between Kante and Pogba. Conte does not want choose one, he says both are good in different characteristics.

Antonio Conte slams Jose Mourinho and Man United's players: This really angered me
ANTONIO CONTE has slammed Manchester United's aggressive tactics during their FA Cup clash last night.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte slammed Jose Mourinho and Man United's players
Chelsea beat the Red Devils 1-0 last night to reach the semi-finals of the competition thanks to an N'Golo Kante winner.

United went down to 10 men in the first half when Ander Herrera saw red after picking up a second yellow card.

The Spain international booted Eden Hazard to the floor - a place where the Chelsea star spent most of his night.

And Blues boss Conte has slammed Jose Mourinho's tactics, claiming United's game plan has no place in football.

"My point of view is this: They've got to play football, and my players want to play football," said Conte.

"For 20 or 25 minutes, it was impossible for Eden Hazard to play football. I see only that he got a lot of kicks.

"But I don't think I'm crazy and I see only him in this situation. Hazard, for 25 minutes, it was impossible for him to play football. Only kicking.

"He started the game receiving kicks, and he finished receiving kicks. No one person can say this did not happen.

"Was that United's tactic? I don't know. But this tactic, to play by going to kick the opponent, does not exist. It's not football for me.

"I don't think this can be a tactic. This is the truth. Everyone saw this. I think sometimes, when you play against players with great talent, you try and intimidate these players.

"I think the referee must protect this type of player."

Antonio Conte discusses Ander Herrera's red card after FA Cup clash
ANTONIO CONTE says Manchester United's fouls stopped Eden Hazard from playing and a decision had to be made.

Red Devils star Ander Herrera saw red in the second half after a foul on Hazard - his second yellow card.

Jose Mourinho and Conte had a furious row on the touchline minutes after the dismissal.

But the Chelsea boss has defended referee Michael Oliver, claiming United's stars forced him to make a huge decision with their rash tackles.

"I think Hazard started the game and couldn't play," said Conte.

"All the people look at this and then judge."

Chelsea will face Tottenham in the FA Cup semi-final, with the winner playing the victor of Manchester City vs Arsenal.

I was surprised when Antonio Conte made this decision at Chelsea - Ruud Gullit
CHELSEA legend Ruud Gullit was surprised Antonio Conte didn't install his 3-4-3 formation sooner.

Ruud Gullit opened up on Chelsea boss Antonio Conte

The Italian decided to change to his favoured line-up following the Blues' defeat against Arsenal in September.

Chelsea haven't looked back since, storming to a 10-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

And Blues hero Gullit says Conte was waiting for a good reason to change to his favourite formation.

"I was surprised Antonio Conte didn't introduce his 3-4-3 formation even earlier than he did this season," Gullit wrote in his Daily Mail column.

"I just think he was waiting for a good reason to change to what he knows best.

Star man's contract talks halted with Man United and Chelsea watching
TALKS over Romelu Lukaku's new Everton contract have reportedly halted after the club's buy-out clause insistence.

By James Walters / Published 14th March 2017

Source: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/...urs-gossip-news

Will Everton star Romelu Lukaku join Man United or Chelsea?
The Toffees star is set to pen a bumper new deal at Goodison Park, keeping him on Merseyside for the long term.

However, the Daily Telegraph say Everton's bid to finalise the contract has been put on hold by refusing to insert a buy-out clause below £90m.

And they say Manchester United and Chelsea are keeping watch on Lukaku's situation.

Everton don't want to agree a new contract with their star man to make it easier for him to jump ship to one of the Premier League big boys.

The Telegraph add that Everton chairman Bill Kenwright will not agree to a £60m-£70m clause because he feels United and Chelsea are willing to pay that fee.

Putting Lukaku's get-out clause at £90m means the buyer will have to pay a world record fee.

Man United can’t complain: This was simply stupid to do against Chelsea - Alan Shearer

ALAN SHEARER has branded Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera as “stupid” for getting himself sent off at Chelsea.

The Spaniard repeatedly gave away free-kicks during the first half as Manchester United aimed to shut Chelsea down.

But Antonio Conte’s side were given the boost they needed with just 35 minutes gone when referee Michael Oliver issued a second yellow card to Herrera.

United were incensed by the decision as the final foul on Eden Hazard was soft, however the accumulation of fouls was Herrera’s undoing.

Jose Mourinho was reluctant to comment on the decision after the game, but Shearer pointed blame solely at the United player.

Oliver had warned United’s men they were edging close to the line, and Sheerer feels Herrera effectively gifted Chelsea a route to victory.

"Yes for me [he should have been sent off], you can't complain with that one at all [the first booking],” Shearer told BBC Sport.

"I think he knows what he is doing there, he's stopping Hazard.

"And the second one, I know he hasn't made a foul since his yellow card, but the referee is talking to them about constantly fouling Hazard.

"Stupid, he knows he is on a yellow card."

N’Golo Kante’s second-half strike clinched the 1-0 victory at Stamford Bridge and earned Chelsea a semi-final tie with Tottenham at Wembley.

Frank Lampard pinpoints this as Chelsea's most important quality
FRANK LAMPARD believes Chelsea's togetherness is behind their success this season.

By Marc Williams / Published 14th March 2017

Source: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/...a-Antonio-Conte

Frank Lampard has hailed Chelsea's togetherness
The Blues look nailed on to claim Premier League glory this term as they currently hold a ten-point lead at the top.

The west Londoners have enjoyed a remarkable run of form following Antonio Conte's decision to switch to a 3-4-3 formation in the aftermath of September's 3-0 defeat to Arsenal.

Chelsea legend Lampard says their team unity is the reason why they have been so impressive in recent months.

He told the BBC: "From early in the season, Chelsea changed after a big loss at Arsenal and went to three at the back.

"They keep churning out the same performances and results now.

"They have togetherness, they defend and attack as a team.

"They have special players who can win games."

Chelsea travel to Stoke on Saturday as they return to Premier League action.

Conte's men claimed a comfortable 2-1 win over West Ham in their last top-flight outing.

Antonio Conte asked to pick between N'Golo Kante and Paul Pogba… here's what he said
ANTONIO CONTE has hailed N'Golo Kante and Paul Pogba as "two top players".

By Jamie Styles / Published 13th March 2017

Source: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/...ul-Pogba-FA-Cup

Kante, 25, has played an important role in Chelsea's return to the top of the Premier League table this season.

The midfielder has missed just one league game for the Blues since his arrival from Leicester last summer.

Pogba meanwhile, is starting to find his feet back at Old Trafford.

He has made 39 appearances across all competitions during his second spell with the Red Devils, scoring seven goals and assisting five in the process.

The pair of Frenchman are likely to go head-to-head when Chelsea welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge tonight.

And speaking ahead of the FA Cup quarter-final clash, Conte, who worked with Pogba at Juventus, has refused to chose between the two.

"They are two different players with different characteristics," said the Blues boss, speaking to the club's official website.

"It’s very difficult to try to compare Paul and N’Golo – two top players but with different characteristics."

Defending champions fall when no innovations/changes are made, I think we need some tweaks. 3-4-3 in recent weeks also starting to lose magic. been conceding 1 goal every match, and not as comfortable in matches anymore.
I won't want him if we had other managers. But with the Godfather, I think he can control anyone. If even Costa and Pogba can behave under him...

I dunno about Sanchez or Pogba can fit here or not. But one thing for sure, their attitudes are important.

Yes you are right, our Godfather Conte seems to work well. Earlier there was one incident where Costa was dropped due to attitude problem tongue.gif

Still you dont answer my question. where would hazard fit in 3-5-2 system.i try to implement 3-5-2 in my fm save game as chelsea manager but i couldnt find a role that suitable to hazard.
*
I remember Costa was suspended once(He accumulated enough yellow cards) during the time we employed 3-4-3 system. We used Hazard as false nine and he scored, remember? hmm.gif

We do have an alternate plan, false nine involving Hazard. Although that means we not able to utilize Batshuayi who is the real striker. We certainly can use a few backup plans if Costa got suspended, or Hazard is injured like he is right now...

QUOTE(zoidx_chung @ Mar 22 2017, 01:05 PM)
343 is a balance system to cover individual weakness with team effort, it working quite well for us in the moment but I think after Conte bought players in his list, he will change the system... either to 352 or 424 or what so ever~
*
Every team seems to try counter us or rather shadow our 3-4-3 formation with their own 3-4-3 formation. Mou appears goes one step further by adapting 3-4-2-1 is it? hmm.gif

We still win though as the opponent is pretty bad

Yes indeed. We need a few new players for many departments(defense new CB, striker in case Batshuayi leaves, midfield sure need 1 new engine since we likely play CL games) next season. Unless Conte goes promote a few from our youth... like Ake hmm.gif

Chelsea's N'Golo Kante: I almost moved to Marseille before joining Leicester
VAISHALI BHARDWAJ 2 days ago

Chelsea star N'Golo Kante has revealed he nearly didn't join Leicester City because he wanted to go to Marseille.

Kante was at French side Caen when he heard of interest from Leicester but was tempted by an offer from Marseille because of the previous title-winning teams they had.

The midfielder ended up becoming Claudio Ranieri's first signing at the club, however, after agreeing a four-year deal before he went on to play a key role in the Foxes storming to the title.

Kante is now at Chelsea, where he is on course to securing another top-flight crown, but the France international has admitted his story could have been very different had he decided to join Marseille in 2015.

"Among the clubs that most wanted to recruit me were Marseille and Leicester," Kante told French TV channel Canal +.

"I thought I had to go through a stage in France.

"I remember the generation of [Mamadou] Niang, [Franck] Ribery and [Samir] Nasri and it was a team that I liked, especially in the Champions League."

Kante has been hotly tipped to be named as the PFA Player of the Year for his scintillating performances for Antonio Conte's side this season.

Despite his consistent showings for league leaders Chelsea, Kante believes several of his Chelsea teammates also deserve to take the gong including Eden Hazard, who won the award two years ago.

"There are quite a few players in the Premier League who deserve this award," he said.

"There is [Eden] Hazard, Diego Costa and David Luiz in my team."

Chelsea's success means Antonio Conte can now target 'star' signings - Pat Nevin
TOM DOYLE a day ago

Chelsea's Premier League title pursuit has already given Antonio Conte an edge in recruiting top transfer targets this summer, according to Pat Nevin.

Standard Sport understands Conte has been promised funds to sign four key players this summer as the Premier League leaders plan for life back in the Champions League, with a list of potential new recruits being drawn up.

Chelsea went into the international break 10 points clear of second-placed Tottenham with 10 games to go, though Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard are doubts for Saturday's clash against Crystal Palace after withdrawing from Belgium's squad.

Courois is expected to return from a hip injury in time for the Stamford Bridge meeting, though former Chelsea winger Nevin suggests a break might aid Hazard - and coach Conte - with Chelsea already beginning to prepare for the 2017/18 campaign.

"Eden Hazard might be winning his battle for fitness for the game against Palace, so the recovery time probably did him some good in the end," Nevin told the club's official website.

"I actually think this has been a good thing for the club generally, not just Eden, and maybe for the manager more than anyone else it has been an opportunity to take stock.

"He will have had a chance to recharge, though he never looks as if he needs that, and maybe even get a bit of family time which he has certainly missed since he arrived in London.

"It also gave him a little more time to involve himself in that other vitally important piece of work, planning for the future.

"The club is continually working on planning ahead for the next season and beyond, but having a good solid period to interact about who the manager wants to acquire going forward is of paramount importance.

"The focus is mostly on trying to win the league and the FA Cup, but there is so much more to the job, so many ideas to juggle and so little time to do it."

Regarding Chelsea's approach to summer recruitment, Nevin stressed that Conte and the club must work quickly and decisively to stay on top and also avoid being stung late on.

"Clearly a little more strength in depth will be added," he said. "Every good organisation knows, especially in football, that it is always best to strengthen when you are doing well.

"There are a number of reasons for this. First if you are chasing players out of desperation then poor decisions can be made and you will almost always have to pay a premium on the price for your panic.

"Another important point is that top players are always more likely to sign for a team that is currently successful.

"Going to a star player and saying you are ‘hopefully’ building something good is fine, but it pales badly in comparison to the promise of him adding something extra to an already winning side.

"Players want the big bucks, but it then comes down to who is going to give him the best chances to promote himself, allow him to enjoy his football and of course hopefully help him win trophies."

Antonio Conte tells Roman Abramovich he wants Bayern Munich and Juventus stars
ANTONIO CONTE has told Roman Abrahmovich who is on his summer wish list.

By Colin Harvey / Published 28th March 2017

The Chelsea boss is keen to add a left-sided defender and he knows exactly who he wants, according to The Guardian.

As well as targeting Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez, Conte wants Bayern Munich star David Alaba or Juventus defender Alex Sandro.

Both can play on the left and would fit the bill perfectly for what he is looking for.

Conte is thought to be close to agreeing a new contract at Stamford Bridge but he wants assurances the club will spend big this summer.

Southampton's Virgil van Dijk and Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko are also targets.

Conte is concerned Chelsea will not have the fire power or the depth to compete in the latter stages of the Champions League next term.

The Blues are cruising to the title and will return to Europe's elite club competition next term.

They have undoubtedly been helped by a lack of European football this time around and Conte wants a deeper squad to ensure they compete on all fronts in 2017/18.

Antonio Conte in disagreement with Chelsea’s board over Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata
GOSSIP
Metro Sport Reporter for Metro.co.uk
Thursday 30 Mar 2017 12:03 am

Romelu Lukaku is wanted by Chelsea’s technical director.

Antonio Conte is at odds with Chelsea’s hierarchy over which striker to sign this summer, according to reports.
The Sun claims that Antonio Conte’s preference is to sign Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid.
But technical director Michael Emenalo wants to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton and is arguing that the Belgian’s experience of the Premier League should play a factor in the club’s decision.
The Premier League leaders will spend £70 million a new striker, with Morata and Lukaku the two most realistic options.

Antonio Conte’s preference is to sign Morata from Real Madrid.

The report also claims that Diego Costa is expected to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Tianjin Quanjian failed with a £90 million offer for the Spain international in the January window but are expected to reignite their interest this summer.

Chelsea agree £350,000 deal for Rangers wonderkid Billy Gilmour
Sean Kearns for Metro.co.ukWednesday 29 Mar 2017 11:33 pm

Rangers wonderkid Billy Gilmour looks set to join Chelsea after Antonio Conte’s side agreed a £350,000 deal for the 15-year-old.
The Blues have been tracking the teenager for a number of months and have upped their interest in recent weeks following enquiries from Manchester United and Manchester City.
As Gilmour is not yet 16, no club can purchase the winger but Chelsea have agreed a £350,000+ deal with the Scottish giants for when he turns 16 in June, according to the Daily Mail.
Though Gilmour is likely to accept the move to Stamford Bridge, Rangers are still hopeful that he will reject the Blues and managing director Stewart Robinson said the club are just covering their backs.

‘We have got a position agreed if he was to go,’ said Robertson.
‘I won’t tell you the number but there is a position agreed.
‘It would be negligent of us not to have done that in terms of the governance of the club, but we’d rather not get the money and Billy stayed and went on to have a great career at Rangers.
‘We need to protect our position and do the sensible thing because if he goes in the summer without a deal being agreed then he leaves only for a compensation amount
‘That would be a helluva lot less than if we had a fee agreed beforehand. We have protected our position on that side of things but we’d like Billy Gilmour to stay at the club.’

Chelsea currently sit 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League and look set to secure the title with ease.

Conte is clearly not ready to rest on his laurels though and he is planning ahead for next season.

The Italian is keen to add to his attacking options as the Blues prepare for the return of Champions League football.

And The Sun suggest Real Madrid star Morata and Everton ace Lukaku are on Chelsea's wanted list.

The newspaper indicate club chiefs could sanction negotiations to take both £70m-rated players to Stamford Bridge.

However, Conte will apparently need to sacrifice Batshuayi to finance those swoops and free up space in his squad.

Whether the duo would be willing to move to west London together and fight it out for a starting spot remains to be seen though.

Chelsea make contact over stunning summer deal: Conte wants to ruin Mourinho's plans
CHELSEA have reportedly been in touch with Atletico Madrid over a megabucks deal for Antoine Griezmann.

By James Benson / Published 25th March 2017

The France star has emerged as one of the world’s biggest talents over the past few seasons.

And Jose Mourinho has put him top of his summer shopping list.

The Manchester United boss apparently believes his club are ahead of Chelsea in terms of negotiations.

The Sun claim Antonio Conte is determined to stun Mourinho and scupper the Red Devils’ transfer plans though.

The newspaper suggest Chelsea have already registered their interest in buying Griezmann.

And they say Conte is ready to go toe-to-toe with Mourinho to secure the frontman’s signature.

A bidding war between the two Premier League giants could ensue at the end of the campaign.

However, either side could gain an immediate advantage if they meet Griezmann’s £86m release clause.

Stumping up that figure would trigger direct access to the 26-year-old to begin talks over a switch.

Bundesliga star desperate to impress Chelsea boss Antonio Conte
ANDREAS CHRISTENSEN wants to force his way into Antonio Conte’s first-team plans.

By James Benson / Published 25th March 2017

The Chelsea defender, 20, has spent the past two seasons on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.

And during that Bundesliga stint he’s established himself as one of the Europe’s top prospects.

Andreas Christensen has enjoyed an impressive spell at Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach.

Christensen is expected to represent Denmark at this summer’s Under-21 European Championships.

But it seems catching Chelsea boss Conte’s eye is just as important as playing for his country.

Asked about going to June’s tournament, Christensen told BT: "I really want to play in the finals, but it depends on what happens at club level.

"I have not had a holiday in a really long time. If I’m going back to England I need to impress my new coach in pre-season."

Christensen has racked up 31 appearance in all competitions for Gladbach this term.

And he’ll be hoping to shine once again when they visit Eintracht Frankfurt next weekend.

Sissoko, who joined Tottenham from Newcastle in a £30million deal last summer, has failed to live up to his price tag and Mauricio Pochettino is ready to cut his losses in the summer.

Chelsea were linked with a move for Sissoko following his impressive Euro 2016 campaign with France, but he opted to join Spurs.

Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

Antonio Conte has held a long-term interest in Moussa Sissoko.

However, Spanish TV station Telecinco claim the Blues have renewed their interest in the France international.

It is claimed Chelsea have reached a pre-agreement with Sissoko over a summer transfer in a cut-price deal worth between £12-18million.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to offload Moussa Sissoko in the summer.

Express Sport understands the Blues will face competition for his signature with AC Milan and Inter Milan registering their interest in the 27-year-old.

Sissoko has made 26 appearances for Spurs in all competitions this season and is contracted to the club until 2021.

First of all, congratulatins! We win rclxm9.gif

TLDR:
-Roman want Neymar. Conte tell Big Boss he prefers Sanchez and Lukaku over Neymar.
-Lukaku gaduh with his Everton teammate as Everton draw match with MU.
-Diegoal escapes further ban problems for challenge with City's defender Kompany.
-Stamford Bridge press box can view both home and away clubs managers reactions, Conte and Guardiola, their reactions on sidelines can be viewed clearly.
-Our impressive defender on loan, Christensen will be recalled for a closer look by Conte during pre-season. I think Ake and Christensen are good backup for our current defenders.
-We are looking for right wingback Mose backup finally. Our scouts are monitoring Atalanta ace Andrea Conti and Jeremy Toljan of Hoffenheim. While Conte was at Juventus, he is said to be tracking them. More Italian flavor to Premier League?

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte tells Roman Abramovich he wants Alexis Sanchez or Romelu Lukaku over Neymar
GOSSIP
Tom Olver for Metro.co.ukWednesday 5 Apr 2017 9:16 am

Antonio Conte has reportedly told Chelsea he would prefer to bring either Alexis Sanchez or Romelu Lukaku to Stamford Bridge over Neymar.

Reports suggest Roman Abramovich offered to pursue the signing of Barcelona superstar Neymar but Conte informed Chelsea’s owner over dinner that he would rather that the club chased other targets at the end of the season.
It’s believed Chelsea are increasingly concerned by Inter Milan’s interest in Conte and Abramovich will be doing everything to please the manager in the summer transfer window.
The Times claim that the Italian has made Arsenal forward Sanchez and Everton striker Lukaku the club’s primary attacking targets ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

There’s growing speculation that Sanchez is pushing for a move across London to Chelsea, with the Chilean yet to agree to a new deal at the Emirates.
Lukaku, meanwhile, rejected a new five-year contract worth £140,000 at Everton last month and is widely expected to leave Goodison Park in the summer.

It’s understood the Toffees value Lukaku at around £70million so a summer deal for the Belgian will not come cheap.

Romelu Lukaku in huge bust-up with Ashley Williams in Everton’s draw with Manchester United
Chris Davie for Metro.co.ukTuesday 4 Apr 2017 11:06 pm

Romelu Lukaku was involved in a heated bust-up with Ashley Williams during Everton’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Tuesday evening.
Williams was spotted berating Lukaku in the second half of the match at Old Trafford.
But Lukaku responded with a shushing gesture towards the Everton captain, who was then pulled away from the argument by Gareth Barry.
After the match had ended, Lukaku had a conversation with United midfielder Paul Pogba on the pitch, and the Everton striker was seen throwing his arms in the direction of the tunnel.

Williams was sent off in injury time after stopping Luke Shaw’s goal-bound strike with his arm and Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted a last-gasp equaliser from the penalty spot.
‘The manager will want that intense drive, that determination, that arguing between team-mates for the good of the team, but he wouldn’t want that lack of respect for the shushing,’ Rio Ferdinand told BT Sport after the game.

Diego Costa to escape ban for Vincent Kompany clash
Chris Davie for Metro.co.uk Diego Costa is set to face no further action from the Football Association for his tackle on Vincent Kompany in Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Manchester City.
In the second half at Stamford Bridge, Costa fell to the ground in a challenge with the City captain, but as he was on the floor, the Chelsea striker pushed his studs into the Belgian’s thigh.
Referee Mike Dean saw the incident at the time and awarded a free-kick to City, but did not punish Costa with a yellow or red card.
Under FA ruling, incidents are not allowed to be re-evaluated, meaning that Costa is in line to face Bournemouth on Saturday.
‘We’ve heard about possible retrospective action, I don’t think any action will be taken,’ former Premier League referee Howard Webb told BT Sport.

‘Mike Dean is in a good position, he sees the situation and penalises Costa.
‘There’s no other foul apart from this action by Costa than to put his foot in to stop him.
‘If there was a foul before that and this happened afterwards, then maybe the FA might want to look at it as an act as violent conduct.

‘But because this is the foul that Mike Dean penalises, then he’s seen it, he’s made a judgement on it, and the FA don’t re-referee situations when the referee has seen it.
‘Is it violent conduct? It’s a subjective call, he puts his foot but doesn’t follow through, I think it’s worth a yellow card but falls short of violent conduct.’

Antonio Conte wins absorbing touchline tussle

Thursday, April 06, 2017 Gerry Cox

The view from the Bridge, the Stamford Bridge press box, is the worst in the Premier League, especially if you are unlucky enough to be stuck at the back, where the low overhanging concrete beams give the impression of a Second World War bunker. It makes anything above head height on the pitch almost impossible to see.

In the old days of teams like George Graham’s Arsenal, who liked to hoist the ball long and high, you would struggle to see much of the ball for most of the game.

But it does give a superb view of the two dugouts, and an unrivalled opportunity to see at close quarters how the men under most pressure in the modern game conduct themselves.

So with Chelsea against Manchester City, what better sideshow can there be than observing the touchline antics of Antonio Conte and Pep Guardiola? The two men are similar in so many ways, but polar opposites at times.

Both arrived in England last summer with reputations of the highest order and expectations to match. Barely six months separates them in age, they both had playing careers at the highest level, and have taken the same standards of excellence into management.

Both are skilled in the art of mind games, with Guardiola doing his best to pile pressure on Conte ahead of this fixture by suggesting the Italian is now the best in the business, and perhaps he can teach Pep a thing or two. One of those lessons could be in media management, with Guardiola prone to outbursts of spikiness, earning him a reputation as a tad paranoid.

Conte, by contrast, is almost schizophrenic in his change from Jekyll to Hyde once the whistle blows. The quiet and urbane Italian, appears to develop ‘touchline Tourettes’ when he is in the technical area.

And so it was last night. All hugs and smiles before kick-off, both in the tunnel and on the touchline, Conte and Guardiola were the best of enemies during 90 pulsating minutes. Both immaculately dressed in dark designer suits, Conte was waving his arms and shouting himself hoarse from the start, while Guardiola stood with hands in pockets, almost nonchalant.

It was a different story once Eden Hazard fired Chelsea into an early lead. Conte celebrated briefly before calmly returning to his place, while Guardiola looked despondent, squatting in front of his assistants with his back to the play, wondering what to do. He was soon fired up when Sergio Aguero appeared to be tripped as he ran in on goal, and the coach showed traces of the speed of old as he raced down towards the linesman. Fourth official Bobby Madley was across quickly to intervene but Pep would not be calmed, for a few minutes at least as he protested at the injustice. When Aguero equalised shortly afterwards, Guardiola allowed himself a little fist pump before returning to berate and debate with Madley whether his striker was vindicated.

The touchline drama did not stop there. While Guardiola divided his time between watching his players and turning to his coaching staff, Conte was in a world of his own, kicking every ball, putting each of his players in position shouting what must have been barely audible instructions in the highly charged atmosphere.

When Hazard scored again, Guardiola looked in despair to his assistants, scratching his head as if wondering what he needed to do. He tried changing tack, switching Kevin de Bruyne and Leroy Sane to opposite flanks with good effect. Conte made a similar move with Pedro and Hazard, and the chances came and went for both sides.

As the game moved into stoppage time, with City on top and pushing hard for an equaliser, Conte took advantage of a break in play to get the crowd going, urging them to sing the way he urges his players on throughout the 90 minutes. As the final seconds ticked away, he walked anxiously to check the time with the officials, and the final whistle went, gave a relieved fist pump of his own, before turning to Guardiola for a cursory and good-natured hug, before joining his players in celebration of the victory that will probably mean they will go on to lift the title, hugging them as they left the pitch.

Guardiola, too, walked out on to the turf to console his players, who now have little chance of winning the league.

It was exhausting to watch, enthralling, entertaining, and absolutely absorbing. And who knows? Guardiola may just be right about Conte being the best manager in the world.

Chelsea call back Christensen

Date: 6th April 2017 at 1:05am
Written by: Joe McHugh
Antonio Conte wants to give Andreas Christensen his chance at Chelsea.

According to a report in The Express the young defender will be recalled from his loan spell with Borussia Monchengladbach and given the chance to impress net season.

Christensen has nailed down a place in the Gladbach defence and looked comfortable playing in the Bundesliga, wining last season’s Player of the Year award at the club.

The young Dane is in the second season of a two year loan deal with the German side who would love to keep him on a permanent basis.

Conte has other ideas however and is keen to see how the 20-year-old fares in pre-season as he tries out different defensive formations.

Chelsea could pick up a £15,m transfer fee for Christensen any time they like but as he seeks a to put his own marker on the side Conte will check out the young Dane in pre season before finalising his transfer window spending plans.

Antonio Conte targets Italian ace or German Under-21 star to solve Chelsea headache

Posted by Ron Carne April 4, 2017

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is reportedly stepping up his efforts to sign a new right-back with two names in particular emerging on his shortlist.

With Victor Moses picking up an injury this past week, the Italian tactician deployed Pedro in the right wing-back slot on Saturday only to see his side fall to a 2-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace.

While they still boast a seven-point advantage over nearest rivals Tottenham at the top of the Premier League table, it was a reminder that they perhaps don’t have the strength across the squad needed.

It’s claimed by The Mirror that Conte has already started to identify summer targets with scouts sent to watch Atalanta ace Andrea Conti, while Jeremy Toljan of Hoffenheim is also a possible option.

It’s added that Toljan, 22, has been tracked by Conte since he was in charge at Juventus, and with 15 Bundesliga appearances under his belt so far this season, he will only have continued to develop his game and gain experience.

As for Conti, he continues to enjoy a stellar campaign for Atalanta as they continue their march for a Europa League qualification spot, as he bagged his fifth goal of the season at the weekend in a 5-0 win over Genoa.

Adding quality and depth will be pivotal for Chelsea this summer as they will have to contend with a return to the Champions League which will put added stress on Conte’s troops.

As with any top club around Europe, he’ll be aiming to have two top options in each position moving forward, and with a lack of depth behind Moses, the right-back position is seemingly going to take precedence this summer.
