a bit strange that we played some of our best football against palace and still lost. some of the combinations between eden,fab,and pedro were phenomenal. palace just couldn't keep track of their runs, and if costa could just finish one or two of his chances, we'd still have a very comfy lead at the top.

after watching city play some wonderful attacking stuff and proceed to get pegged back when arsenal regained their composure while getting a foothold in the match, i'd say we have a good chance of beating them.

it's fine if we don't go all guns blazing, but our counterattacking routine must be spot on. there are some mistakes just waiting to happen within that backline and our players are well equipped to take advantage of that. there were at least two big blunders that lead to goal-scoring chances yesterday, and arsenal weren't even pressing them that hard. one of those fell to ozil, the others i can't remember. conte has a huge call to make with costa here. if he bets on diego and he's up to his old tricks again,i hope he's brave enough to get him off at HT.

toss up between willian and azpi. i think there's this slight myth about azpi not being attacking enough when he's out on the right. people tend to forget he's one of our best crossers, and if conte decides to put him there, i hope he has a blinder. willian certainly has the strength to play there, but not too sure about his positional awareness.
