Parking in this thread. I have a Prolimatech PK-3 bought in 2014 and since working from home now wanted to spend some time to refresh my PC for use. GORE DO NOT OPEN » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Getting Started
|
You have to do cleaning on your fan and heatsink. I use to dismantle the heatsink then unscrew the fan. The I wash the whole heatsink using clean water with brush. Use dry brush or air blower to clean the fan. Then make sure the heatsink is totally dry before screw back the fan onto the heatsink and put on thermal paste before install it back on top the processor. Basically, I have to do it every 2~3 years base on my room condition.
Thermal paste usually 4~5 years you need to clean off the old paste and put on new one.
Recommended thermal paste is Thermal Grizzly.
