1. AEON BIG will close down three of its stores in Klang Valley in the next 30 days as their profit margins continue to remain under pressure after taking over the now-defunct Carrefour Malaysia four years ago.

2. The three stores are Kota Damansara, River City (Jalan Ipoh) and Bangsar South. After the closure, AEON BIG will have 22 stores in Malaysia.

3. Informed sources said AEON BIG will consolidate their business through closing stores.
