Went to Aeon Big Bangsar South yesterday. Damnnnn really prepare for closing already. Only small number of items left.

Hi, anybody has any idea what will happened to the piece of land in Kota Damansara after the closure of AEON BIG??

It has been empty quite some time now, just wondering...

Aeon big their demographics of customer mostly over 40s and retiree i see...

If that area not many baby boomers/early gen x memang mati no customer.

when economy bad, people cut spending and choose the cheaper choice, aeon products are not to compete on cheapest level, so times like these they will take a hit too.

I pass by the place last few day , saw a AEON (Purple) signboard was up, not too sure what is it indicating .hopefully they are planning on something.

Because they overlap, eg Mid Valley got both Aeon and Aeon Big. It's just not cost efficient this way.

depend on how you see it ....

if the closed one of it, then Tesco/giant open there, competition come in ?

if negotiated cheaper rent with midvalley, then why not ...
