Best to install a Sound Deadening Pads. As it will reduce the cabin noise coming from the tyre, wind and engine.

Definitely CC6. An it is not that expansive. However, handling like rubbish.

yes. Depends on your budget. For below RM300, the CC6 does a really good job...on par with the expensive ones.
But you'll have to sacrifice handling. If you can spend more than RM300...go for Primacy. Noise is almost the same but handling is slightly better I guess. No too sure as I haven't drive on long journeys using it.

With that size off course Primacy 3ST. The entry level tyre like Conti CC6 not come with that size. Yoko advanDB very hard to find if got also the price quite high compare to 3st. 3st is quieter than advanDb according to some site.

From ur same nick, I believe u are also in Camry hybrif facebook grooups (2 groups).

Thete are few switch over to Michelin PS4 at RM490 to RM530/pc. Theyvhv experienced very smooth & much quiet cabin noises compare wth the ori er33

215/55R17 for Camry/Estima ? Turanza is quite good, if you want something more quiet, get Micellin Primacy 3 ST. High threadwear count and very quiet / comfy.

I had the Yokohama Advan DB on my previous car (195/60R15). Quiet but grip is so-so in the rain. You can try the Yokohama Bluearth AE01 which are pretty quiet as well (215/55R17 on my dad's car). Alternatively there's also the Michelin Primary 3ST, which is really nice and silent (based on my experience in my BIL's Golf TSI -- *he's on 17" Golf GTI MK5 rims if I'm not mistaken).

For my current car I'm using the Michelin PS4 (215/45R17). Just slightly quieter than the Conti ContiSportContact 3 that I traded in, not sure how it compares to the Advan DB and Bluearth AE01 but I consider it quiet too. I've only driven less than 500KM on them though.

Edit: The Advan DB, Bluearth AE01, and PS4 are still damn noisy on rough roads. My last memory of my the Primacy 3ST is that they're quiet even on rough roads.

Michelin should be good if you're looking for noise reduction. I think PS4 should be noisier than PS3. Although I don't like PS3, have to admit it is really good when it comes to noise. My new Fleva highway noise like my 33k PS3. However I don't want to spent 5xx on tires again.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 (made in Thailand)

Very quiet (soft). WHen I was at Lim Tayar (MRR2 outlet), an uncle on his Hyundai also installed PS4 and he loves them.

That's the sad part. It's as if we 14/15-inchers do not deserve good tyres.

Think Myvi tongue.gif

It's not just about speed. Drivers of small cars also like to feel the joy of driving safely in heavy rain - as it is, small cars are generally more unstable compared to bigger cars.

Current tyre Vios using now is Conti CC5.

Which is advisable to change? CC6 or Primacy 3ST?

Prefer super quiet and good grip as well.

Kindly advise. Thanks.

Probably the latest Primacy 4 should be more decent. But maybe the Turanza T005 is more value for money in this class.
