Just sold my RHB gold fund at a 14% gain.
I believe now might be a good time to sell gold UT, why do i say that? 1) Gold is testing its high now vs 09/10 high in the last two decades 2) In history, there was a time that US forbid holding of paper and physical gold, basically having any form of gold is a crime. Imagine if Trump uses that, what would happen (who holds most gold in the world) 3) Thirdly, read this for gold investors https://www.bullionstar.com/blogs/ronan-man...-gld-gold-bars/ Im relooking at other funds to buy. Maybe china exposed funds? This post has been edited by GloryKnight: May 18 2020, 01:38 PM |

QUOTE(Germ @ May 18 2020, 02:05 PM) Other than the china funds ( eg Principal Greater China Equity), i recently read about a newly set up fund Affin Hwang World Series - Global Brands Fund. Launched on 2nd March and aims for capital appreciation over medium to long term. Top 3 holdings in Microsoft, Philip Morris and Reckitt Benckiser (consumer products eg dettol, durex etc). Will be monitoring this but dont see on FSM yet. Did a quick run around in FSM: found these two.1) United technology global fund 2) rhb thematic growth |

Hey y'all, anyone of you have used FSM's portfolio services?
Hows the feedback from the ground? I am looking towards either a portfolio service like FSM/Stashaway vs a basket of FSM UT selections to make up my portfolio, then i will top-up yearly. Thanks for sharing ideas! |
