QUOTE(shankar_dass93 @ Mar 30 2017, 12:41 AM) Chill la. But then it will make the beauty of /k/ disappear within a second, Or people will just randomly spam IC number? Lowyat.net would probably have to reassess their account creation methods and should implement more screening procedures as maybe by requiring users to provide their IC numbers hence 1 user is only allowed to have 1 account. Such a step may reduce the number of trolls in the house |

Dear all sifu, just to clarify about CMF.
Its managed by RHB right? I saw that the expense ratio is about 0.2%, which makes Maybank's e-GIA more attractive right? |

Hello all sifu,
after some read and consideration, i've bought the following funds. RHB-CMF 50% CIMB-Principal Asia Pacific Dynamic Income Fund - MYR 27% Manulife India Equity Fund 23% Would like to top up one more fund, for local exposure. Currently looking at Affin Hwang Bond and RHB Bond. Will this be a good time to get Malaysia exposure afterall? I'm thinking of waiting till the election is over. |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ May 18 2017, 10:06 AM) Why keep so much in CMF? Better move it to affin hwang select bond. CMF is for parking place You can't go wrong with Kenanga Growth Fund. QUOTE(Avangelice @ May 18 2017, 10:22 AM) inflation of the month of May is 4.4% The only reason for that is because i'm waiting for a drop in Malaysia market (since most of bond fund is exposed to Malaysia). The optimum allocation for CMF in my view is about 10-15%. So with the India and Asia exposure, the only exposure left should either be China and Malaysia (or just Malaysia).projected return of CMF 3.33 dude don't keep your money sitting there Anyway, hows your POV on the outlook of funds in China? Or even Indonesia. |

QUOTE(T231H @ May 18 2017, 11:46 AM) (in post# 4654, you mentioned that you are looking for timing to enter these 2 funds) as highlighted by others about the inflation rate....just beware of the cost of procrastination.... QUOTE(Avangelice @ May 18 2017, 11:57 AM) heads up bro malaysia won't be going down and will improve with MOU signing with China and also election year is this year. your belief needs to change on that scale. by drop I would means the uncertainty. But you guys have a point. Procrastination do have the cost.just continue DCA on your port On the side note, do platform fees considered when they calculate NAV & annualized return shown in the website? |

QUOTE(Avangelice @ Jun 4 2017, 06:40 PM) I am still young. I can bear the burden of "mistakes" plus like I have emphased time and again, xuzen port works because he has a wrap account to allow him to switch funds freely between fund houses, I do not have that luxury hence why i agree with fsm's call to have 8 to 9 funds that is diversified to encompass the entire globe. what is a warp account? FSM rewards program for hitting a certain amount of investment?Once one branch if wilting you can prune it and shift it to another main branch. To me this is part of my tactical strategy when it comes Shifting my investments. |

QUOTE(Avangelice @ Jun 8 2017, 09:10 AM) anyone betting on trump being investigated and potentially impeached? if so now will the markets react? I dont think trump will be impeached soon, maybe in one more year. All the Republican will be forced to support him politically. Unless he really fuck up big time. I'm now saving up my ammo for that big push On the side note, how i wish Bernie Sanders was the Democrat's candidate. |
