I believe after GE will be better for most MY fund.

Maybe straight away after GE, if BN wins, MY fund will up again.

if PH win, MY fund will follow KLSE, down for few weeks, and up again.

KLSE RSI is OS kaw kaw now.

not really that stress la. I diverse ad.
the lost in MYEQ only few hundred for diy port. and few thousand in managed port. and 10 myr in bond. lol
just a reminder.... should take note in MY market. DCA to be cont in other region. just MY market careful abit. don't gan jiong 1st. wait sentiment seem ok. then in also not late ma correct?
and I forget to add.

the future of MY market is far better than previous years.
Transition period = volatile period.
so my take will wait and see. this won't be long. months maybe.

some sifus here did mention b4. the volatile period may shake up to 2019 or 2018Q4. so yea.
*
as per your experience, should i pull out of KGF ?

My KGF is -3% at the moment.

Shall i pull out and invest in other stuff?

any good fund to recommend lately?

Currently my top performing fund is Manulife dragon, United Japan, and affin Hwang Opportunity fund.

Top loser is IDS, KGF & ponzi 2 (bought around november last year)

wow wow wow IDS bought at Nov 2017? that was at peak right? Dont want cut loss?
*
now negative 28%.

not sure want to cut loss or not.

if is stock or cryptocurrency, i already cut loss at this percentage.

but for unit trust, i not sure to do that or not.

as per my understanding, UT is a basket of stocks managed by a fund manager.

and if let say malaysia market BOOM right back up, IDS can recover. ( But no so soon la haha )

Do you still DCA or ignore it?
*
i just ignore it.

Kinda give up DCA of IDS. Will sell all when it reach my Breakeven point.

i DCA on other funds.

Dragon, ponzi 2, KGF and TA global tech.

Your port would make China very happy  bruce.gif

Except for AH Japan, IDS, KGF, and TA tech. All are concentrated in the greater china region. Are you happy with this?
Just wait for Trump to be kicked out. Your port will improve even if you do nothing,

If not, you want to move away from China, like invest as part of your diversification into India, or US. Or play around the correlation to invest into funds that is not correlated with your port now. See my post on the morningstar xray analysis. You can also start thinking of bond funds?

Another thing is the IDS funds, see my previous post, this fund is just too risky for me. You might want to reduce your weightage once this fund recovers.
*
Thanks for the advice. I will definitely do that by reducing my weightage on ids

Just sharing:
Loading up Affin Hwang Select Asia (Ex Japan) Opportunity Fund - MYR
for CHN +Asia markets' equities
via EPF A/C1 using 1/3 of usable amount

Side note - also using "EPF A/C1 withdrawn to in my self-directed brokerage" for CIMBC50, using 1/3 usable amount too.

Note - i'm doing the above because my Asset Allocation already hit BUY BUY BUY (ie. holding too high % in Fixed Income class), thus "spending it down" by buying SG REITs (cash funded) +Asia & CHN equities (EPF A/C1 funded). Your reasons / triggers & what to buy will vary ya
notworthy.gif
*
can share what is the steps to do that? to withdraw from EPF AC1 and to FSM.

1. Know how much U can take out from EPF A/C1
if U have EPF Online, log in and check - have function to check

2. KNOW which fund U want to invest in, then request form from FSM
They'll mail it to U, 2 copies summor - just in case
Each fund house's form is "specialized" - ie. they pre-print fund house's punye number/barcode into the form, thus U must be specific when requesting form from FSM.

3. Fill in - forms (EPF's +fund house own form) & send back
Black ink & block letters (capitalized)
Thumbprint - use Shiny brand if possible, clear & doesnt smudge. Popula Bookstore or online can get

4. FSM Online - place order as per (3.)

5. Wait lor - FSM will execute (4.) when receive (3.)
