actually, you guys can email fundsupermart, they can convey their opinion to you but they can also pass your message to the fund managers. after all, FSM voice is quite loud, and by loud i mean the customers they bring in to the fund house, especially on the smaller fund houses like TA.
on a separate note, cimb is getting really annoying. login today to see yet another dividend distribution, less than 2 months after the previous one. referring to ponzi 2.0 |

QUOTE(ivzh @ Feb 7 2018, 05:46 PM) Reminder on this is, no one can tell the future. Honestly, in my opinion, the market didn't really drop a lot. It did go up very much as pointed out by xuzen. And for very long too.But I can tell you this, I regret not buying more during the market crashed in Jan 2016. What a pity ah. |

QUOTE(David83 @ Feb 9 2018, 08:08 AM) can top up... just not 0.8%.for normal account holder, just need to give that extra 0.95% SC. For silver account holder (i believe many here are), only 0.7% SC different. The savings in SC (in hindsight of course) is lesser than the drop in NAV... |

QUOTE(Streetrat @ Jun 14 2019, 04:45 PM) Started investing since 2 years ago, my portfolio always go up by hundreds, but go down by thousands. Looks like i started at a wrong time, damn hard for a beginner like me. Was it a lump sum investment when you started?have you really tracked how much is your return? |

Sad. AND my eastspring is bought at 0% sales charge. super duper sad. |

QUOTE(2387581 @ Dec 9 2019, 11:47 PM) CIMB Asia Pac PRS quite lousy. One year on, still in the red. And you don't even get to exit without paying the hefty fee if you are not reaching retiring age. If your main purpose is for tax rebate, by all means go ahead, but you may lose more money in capital depreciation than the tax savings. If you want to do it, you would have chosen an earlier time of the year to put your money in it when it was low. beginner's common mistake. investing in PRS or unit trust is not get rich scheme.so, take a step back and ponder on the decision. My investment since 2014. IRR 6.4% Cheers. |

QUOTE(2387581 @ Dec 10 2019, 12:16 AM) I was offering another perspective. I'm sorry you take it as bragging.I admit that I timed the market wrongly, that's why I'm paying dearly for it. But good for you, that is entitled to brag. Just don't undermine others and spray salt on his wound. The point is not to look at things short term, which is really common though. And it should not be about timing the market. |

QUOTE(Zegoon681111 @ Feb 2 2020, 12:03 AM) You know you can use the filter at fundsupermart instead of asking here. Their filtering quite canggih. I forgot what os the name of the menu/function. The few traditionally popular ones are greater china and asia pacific income. Both cimb funds. Eastspring has a dinasti equity but it is not a buying recommendation, just happen that i bought into it so i know there is such a fund. |

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Apr 25 2020, 01:11 PM) thats why ppl say hindsight is always 20/20 I realise i was not brave enough. This is probably 3rd time since i started investing that there was a big down. Of course march 2020 was faster than the previous ones i think. anyway some analyst is still waiting for the other ball to drop and for the market to find new low or at least a retest of the previous low. So maybe if that happens, you will have your chance again. But how many ppl is so dare to go in during maximum fear. This is to serve as a note to other people and myself that it is when you feel scared, seems like the best time to invest. The next round, i believe people will be slightly more prepared... but let's see. I could be wrong. |

QUOTE(chongteck @ Apr 27 2020, 08:12 AM) Well I was hoping instant withdrawal, but this might be unrealistic. So the few days withdrawal should be fine. Will plan ahead then. Other options will be share trading account. Which is faster than CMF but not paying as much interest. It depends on your end goal. most of us don't mind keeping money in this CMF because they probably has other places to instantly withdraw money or they can survive receiving the money 2 to 3 days later. also cause it makes it easier to transfer money when we do want to invest in this one. Other bank accounts gives higher interest rates usually have some other criteria, there's no one size fit all just have to accept the pros and cons of the facility available. |
