QUOTE(idyllrain @ May 7 2018, 10:40 AM) polarzbearz If you want to work on it together, I can help out. We probably should integrate FSM SG/HK into the spreadsheet anyway since it's a matter of time before FSM MY upgrades to the new platform. QUOTE(polarzbearz @ May 7 2018, 11:31 AM) ......not sure when it'll be completed since I'm working on it during free time on weekend / public holidays. it is really nice knowing that there are nice people out there trying to make some thing useful for others without being asked....appreciate it very much btw, if the 2 of you decided to meet up for some coffees, to do it........just PM me your a/c number.....the 1st 2 lattes will be from me. |

QUOTE(Jaschong @ May 14 2018, 12:42 AM) Consider pulling out and cash in at the same time so bank acc will be empty for a week. Question is to pull out now or not to reduce my losses since Nov'17, better late than worse? There were rumors that Kenanga's investment is linked to various GLCs and later on the new Gov might review policies with certain GLCs that might impact their revenue. here is my take on your post.... end Nov 17 till 7 May 18...my portfolio just lost 2% on the back of my 16% profits for yr 2017 so to me is still ok. Kenanga investment is linked to GLC or not is not my worry, for I invest not on the shares or stocks of Kenanga itself.... I invested in Kenanga's managed fund.... I think there is a different. |

QUOTE(ben3003 @ May 15 2018, 10:13 AM) luckily i sold off half before election.. feels like KGF lost it touch. Any malaysia based fund that are recommended? KGF is not the worst and not the best..... given it has been producing generous annualised returns and it good run in 2017..... i will still keep it for another 6 months to see how it matched up to its peers.... cannot recommend for YTD is mostly BAD or below FD rates |

QUOTE(xcxa23 @ May 22 2018, 05:14 PM) imo, rhb cmf 2 more convenient. example, some bank limit only 10 to 50k per day. with rhb cmf 2, basically ur capital is ur limit. as for processing time, not much different imo. depending on which fund (some b4 3pm some b4 11am), payment b4 stated time will priced on same day. |

QUOTE(MUM @ May 22 2018, 08:32 PM) in March 2018, the rating agencies gives M'sia an A- credit rating..... with the debt > 1 tril and counting those in the colored filesin those period they had been using the "old" data, showing that the Govem debt is abt 650B and the Imdb resolving well....but now the new Finance Minister & the PM had mentioned that the figures are not correct https://www.google.com/search?ei=ywsEW-TNO8.....0.se6LcGMr5SY what will the impact to M'sia mkts when the rating agencies re rate it...soon....?? QUOTE(Jitty @ May 23 2018, 04:10 PM) as per your experience, should i pull out of KGF ? My KGF is -3% at the moment. Shall i pull out and invest in other stuff? do you have only 1 or 2 funds? if you have many,...it is not possible to have all to be good all the times. if you are not comfortable with KGF,...try go for non constrained funds where by the FM are not constrained to allocate a fixed % of the fund in a certain area/country. I think 1 example is ....Affin Hwang Absolute Return Fund III http://affinhwangam.com/list-of-funds/mixe...eturn-fund-iii/ but just that how comfortable are you with your money in the FM's hands?.... if you believe FSM and are comfortable to not use the invested money for the next few years.... try use the Star Rating to help you guide the % of allocation into the country or regions.... just for relative comparison,.....currently i have 13.5% of KGF in my port and yes, YTD KFG is -7.2%, thus part of my current port losses is due to the -1% contributed by KGF |
