Ah, yeah maybe, but my investment time horizon is still pretty broad, minimum 3-5 years, but likely longer. I think over the span of that time period it kinda evens out, but I'm also still trying to figure out my DCA strategy. Not sure if should only cost average in when things are bad, or if I should just set aside a fixed amount every month.

Eastspring Investment Dana Al-Islah for me. A solid fixed income in terms of sharp ratio and preservation.

I might be wrong but amincome plus is focussed on short to medium term bonds which has lower risk than longer bond funds. Thus, the performance is above MMF rate in general. I have also look at its fund fact sheet and amincome has well diversified bonds. Amanahraya trust fund not completely fixed income. But looking at its performance over 10 years, this fund has good preservation of value.

Anyway i invested in both. 2nd level emergency fund in amincome and extra cash in amanahraya trust account.

2.5 months in high interest savings account for me. The rest park in ARSTF. Reconsidering to have 1-2 months in amincome now since bond drop for my emergency fund

both funds encompass bonds, short medium term bond is less volatile compare to longer term bond eh

Hari ini top up Interpac Dana Safi = RM 1,000.00 + United Global Tech ( MYR ) = RM 2,000.00

Early of the month already top up RM 5,000.00 into AmChina-A. ( NB: Min top up for AmChina-A is RM 5K )

KAF Tactical just maintain.

I am bullish on Mehsia ( mid cap ) + China. US exposure is so-so. Top up just to achieve % target in portfolio.

Interpac Dana Safi is a top performer for Malaysia syariah equity fund thumbup.gif

But, felt goosebumps because the fund heavily concentrated on the technology sector at 92% as at 28 Feb 2021 sweat.gif

I recall there was a switching calculator in before they changed interface, where you can select switch from and switch to funds to see if any fee, is it still available?

I vaguely recall the switching rules as follows, but it's subjective what is "same fund house" sometimes (example when Kenanga bought Libra):

Same fund house:
Equity to equity - no sales fee
Bond to bond - no sales fee
Equity to bond - no sales fee, get credit
Bond to Equity - got sales fee, can use credit

Different fund house:
Equity to equity - ???
Bond to bond - ???
Equity to bond - ???
Bond to Equity - ???

Thanks

China equity has the lowest fwd PER amongst the major indices.

China equity index is now below or slightly hovering above -1 Std Dev from its mean point.

Will you buy more during mega sale or not?

p/s My Lic Financial Planner say one lah the above. I only follow his advise aje.

I actually put my bet in USA since Biden already declared trade war with China.
Yet $2 trillion stimulus plan to make USA great again.

HI FRIENDS,

My updated portfolio.

1) AFFIN HWANG GLOBAL DISRUPTIVE INNOVATION
FUND=28.15%
2) AFFIN HWANG NEXT GENERATION TECHNOLOGY
FUND=11.62%
3) AMCHINA A SHARES MYR HEDGED=19.12%
4) UNITED MALAYSIA FUND=15.67%
5) INTERPAC DANA SAFI=11.93
6) RHB SHARIAH CHINA FOCUS FUND=8.11%
7) PRINCIPAL GREATER CHINA EQUITY FUND=.96%
8) BIMB I GROWTH=4.78%

China equities seems "will" not stabilize anytime soon eventhough china's economy doing better may be due to huge selloff . Anyway I have "to" make use of the funds' price dip to recover my losses on "CHINA" funds.
After this no more new/top up china funds.

Planning to add some more funds to more diversify my portfolio.
making use of "eunittrust" sc promo.

-to be added-

1) BIMB I GROWTH(top up)
2) INTERPAC DANA SAFI(top up)
3) PMB SHARIAH GROWTH(new fund)
4) RHB GLOBAL ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENT FUND(new fund)
5) UNITED GLOBAL TECH FUND (new fund)
6) PHILLIP MASTER EQUITY GROWTH FUND(new fund)

also looking for some european and reit based funds.
any recommendations ?

I know my portfolio mostly rely on equities which can pose high risk on my investment .
Leave your thoughts.
Bye.
