Is my combination diversify enough in your opinion ? looking at 60/70 low-medium volatility, 30/40 equity

KAF
Nomura i funds
AMANAHRAYA SYARIAH TRUST FUND
Principal Greater China Equity Fund
Manulife Investment U.S. Equity Fund
TA Global Technology Fund
Affin Hwang Select Asia (Ex Japan) Opportunity Fund (added as pointed out by sifu)

btw, can't be having too many funds in ones portfolio right ?
frankly, even the above combination of 7 funds seem quite a lot  rclxub.gif

thankyou sifu

I had 10+ funds. I still do, but less.

This portfolio looks ok. Maybe more on china and global tech.not a fan of US - focussed fund at the moment, due to covid n election.

Why not affin hwang select bond fund? Asia-focussed

When open FSM one Singapore brokerage account, will it be the same feature with the account for Malaysia?

I plan to buy Singapore Reits etf, attended a webinar and they are promoting their account opening service. If having this account, does the charges is based on Singapore brokerage rate or Malaysia rate?
*
not really same featured, it looks similar but it has differences here and there.

it will follow FSM SG brokerage fee, you can try out the fsm SG fee calculator on the stock counter info page to know the fee you are going to pay

Incoming two cents!

Looking at Affin Hwang Opp factsheet, I see that it has 60% Greater China (China, HK & Taiwan).

I guess Principal Greater China is double dipping? I'd keep Affin Hwang then KIV the Principal fund?

dont scare me la.. i dont want a heart attack icon_question.gif
coz if the puts i sold on VNQ & FRT gets assigned +yearly PRS into that REIT fund, it'll be 33%+/- (my target)

I guess it all depends on time horizon too. If u looking for reit bargain, it's probably looking quite attractive now, as with many other battered funds. Separating bargain n just bad funds is the key. Selina fund probably the one of the good ones base of past performance.

Coming from a FD, u should have a mental note that FI fund is not FD and they can fluctuate albeit lesser than equity fund. So don't be alarm when this happens n of course remember to stay invested n not turn tail at the first sign of volatility. Having a reasonably long horizon is a must to even out the peak and trough in performance.
