I presume is the fixed price amanah saham fund and I thought those fund is paying dividend once a year only.
So if the market were to rebound 3 months later, correct me if i'm wrong those amanah saham fund has no interest right? And if he want to invest in UT again, he has to pay the SC again. I don't see any gain here but definitely a realized loss rather than just paper loss.
Cheers.

QUOTE(MUM @ Oct 19 2018, 10:38 AM) vincabby...see, that is not a NATO.... he is just looking....just looking is action too... then so is sleeping or keeping quiet too..... Lmao.. he mention, he doesn't like price to goes up so how he's going to get any return if the price is always stagnant. anyway, he did mention all his money is returning 6% average a year so that's why he's always only "looking around" but never really take any action. Fully redeem Kenanga Bond Fund after my son was born this year and move them to AS1M (ADAM50) and also SSPN for tax relief.
10 years ago I don't even save/invest. Well, I've never been through a bear market but so far so good.
Main goal now is to keep getting more active income from different sources and honestly I'm still novice in investing.

Hmm, so I made the repurchase 10th Jun for CIMB-Principal Asia Pacific Dynamic Income Fund - MYR and today is the settlement date but till now the fund it's not credited back to my designated bank account.
For every repurchase that I did previously, all funds credited after 2pm on the settlement date but this one till now also not seen.
FSM got issue?

Called FSM to check and they say it's credited but it's not. Now have to wait for them to check further.

QUOTE(ViNC3 @ Jun 19 2019, 09:07 AM) Do keep us posted on the outcome. As per FSM, it's the banker fault who accidentally miss out my payment and I seriously doubt it. For whatever reason, it's their responsibility to make sure all payments go through on the settlement date. I got back the funds yesterday after 6pm.

QUOTE(ViNC3 @ Jun 20 2019, 12:46 PM) wow, guess mistakes happens. As long as you got the money in the end, thats okay No its not ok. If the money it's not in on that day I check with them, I would have lodge the complaint to SC for their mistakes. There are dealing with people hard earn money and what if it takes longer than expected to recover back the funds. In hindsight is easy for you to say such thing.
