Tencent, Alibaba, Tencent, MediaTek, etc looks green this morning.  brows.gif 3 Days to raise back?
*
Nope, I don't think in 3 days, those named stocks can raise back to its pre fall prices..... For they fell too much during the last few days n those regulatory control things will suppress its outlook for short terms, but for longer terms should be rise rise rise👍
I am no god, thus I just think it is so 😇😇

Still thinking wanna topup or not.
*
How much % you gonna top up in relation to the money current invested in that fund?
If currently I has 5k inside a China fund n now I gonna top up 100 into it,... For my appetite,.. I will Just top up
If I think the nav is gonna drop by anotherc10%,... I should focus on preserving my current 5k in that fund instead of fearing of losing 10 from my would be top up value of 100

retracement is going to happen anyway, just when and how serious it will be, for a healthy market.
idk about this company but if this is a strong growing company like its share price trend, we should not see any huge pullback but instead, a small pullback that ready to grow soon.
*
not a strong company previously?
wondering why before yr 2020, not so much yearly price increases
did that company created something new ?? the rate of the price increase since last year was superb thumbup.gif

...........
I want to invest in EFT for China because of lower expense ratio and lower sales charge than Unit Trust (which was my go-to previously)

I used to EFT filter to search for China EFT with lowest expense ratio.

I pick a 'familiar' name like Franklin Templeton vs an 'unfamiliar' name for me like Value Partners Asset Management Malaysia - just my personal preference
Any feedback/input for me to consider?
*
Just wondering why, no right or wrong,...
Your filter is "lowest expense ratio" n not as I think most would hv selected "highest returns"

Hi Yklooi,
If it's a pure ETF, wouldn't it be the same returns regardless? That's why I picked lowest expense ratio
Can you help me understand?
*
i just quick checked this,...maybe there are more similar ETFs out there....i just checked 3
seems like there are ROI differences between them,...

I think that's called tracking error%, thou they are tracking index, however it is almost impossible to track accurately 100%.
*
thus will it have 2% ROI variance to one's portfolio during that duration?

according to their FAQs,...
"Q13: What products are available under Live Trading > Stocks/ ETFs?
A: Stocks, Company Warrants, Structured Warrants, REITs, ETF and Preference Shares are available on our Stocks/ETFs platform.
And, the aforementioned instruments can be found at our Live Trading page.

is there a "Live Trading" page in your FSM apps?

good profit. question
how did you get 0.2%? per annum

https://www.fsmone.com.my/managed-portfolio...et-started/fees

i check the fee.. my understanding should be 0.75%(moderate aggressive) + 0.5 = 1.25%
*
I wonder how much sales charge % do I hv to pay if I "copy" the same portfolio holdings.... Will the Cummulative sales charges of my DIY purchased funds be more than the 0.75% of my investment value?
The 0.5%pa is the portfolio mgmt fees... Their wages for their mgmt work

A mutual fund's expense ratio includes all of the costs necessary to run the fund, including profits for the fund company.
A fund's management fee is simply a portion of a fund's overall expense ratio.

Distribution fees, which are used to pay for the sales and marketing of a fund, including broker commissions, also are part of a fund's expense ratio.
Shareholder service fees cover the cost of customer service and the provision of official mutual fund documents, such as statements, to shareholders.
Other expenses, ranging from custodial expenses to legal, transfer and administrative expenses, all find their way into a fund's total expense ratio.

Can someone verify which profit calculation is correct? The one done by FSM (TOP) or that by me (BOTTOM)?

Thanks.

i could be wrong here,...

You're spot on. Using WAC reduces the profit by a few thousands RM. Is using WAC after Intra Switch Sale a normal convention?

no idea,...i did not go so in depth on my portfolio.
i just calculate the P/L (as majority of my investment is lumpsum) thus it is easier to calculates...
