QUOTE(vincabby @ Jan 5 2018, 12:30 PM) some over three months, some half a year once, some one year once. you have no choice. dividends reinvested as units. so many people here say it is irrelevant. if the NAV goes down the next day, still don't mean you more profit. What's irrelevant? So ultimately you'll only crop it when you sell it?

QUOTE(Quang1819 @ Jan 5 2018, 01:05 PM) What's irrelevant? So ultimately you'll only crop it when you sell it? irrelevant as in if you wonder having dividend paying funds are better than no dividend paying funds. yes to your second question.

QUOTE(Quang1819 @ Jan 5 2018, 12:02 PM) Wanna ask you guys, normally when dividend is given out you guys choose to reinvest or take it out? Does FSM allow you to have an option of the dividend? FSM does not have the say in that. it is the fund house that made the decision....the dividend payment default option is spelled out in the prospectus....

The funds are under nominee account name. If pay out, they will be paid to FSM. It's a feature which FSM must be able to support. The short answer is there is no such feature.

QUOTE(jfleong @ Jan 5 2018, 05:16 PM) Anyone knows how does FSM make money from selling PRS ? How is it possible that they can offer 0% SC while giving out 2 GSC tix for topping up 3k ? Well PRS has a very long lock-in period. I think all PRS providers are keen to throwing extra money to lure investors in to invest with them. So to answer your question, I think FSM gets a certain percentage of management fees from the PRS proviers, and hence they are able to sell at 0% sales charge. While the GSC tix should be sponsored fully or partly by the providers to keep the investors invested with them.

Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY MONEY? A: If you sell the Cash Management Fund (which were purchased via cash), the proceeds will be posted to you either by cheque or deposited into your designated redemption account on T+2. Please note that your designated bank might take 1 - 2 business day to clear the cheque. As the Cash Management Fund’s net interest rate is based on historical pricing, the selling price will be based on the previous calendar day immediately before the date of the transaction. It said T+2 days
