ES global target income fund.

See not so hard now kan. Don't know why people go into lengthy arguments and I notice it's weird when a new guy comes in and says I'm very new in investing but suddenly explodes into an seasoned veteran in investing.

So you guys remember a new guy last year who caused an issue

What's wrong with you bro? Very stressed from the stock market?

I think it was not argument but good discussion that many of us learned something from, even Xuzen acknowledged it. This is the type of quality discussion the forum needs not spoon-feeding statements like what funds we hold. Does it help you in deciding after knowing what WE hold?

Anyway, my fixed income portion will be ASNB FP funds.
*
Yeah it does to see what is the methodologies of everyone in terms of fixed income funds now that we face an future that our bond funds are affected.

As for the discussions up above I am very suspicious of new guys coming in beating their chest and sprouting their stuff when there's a motive behind it.

Now I recall a guy who keeps harping on IDS saying oh it's the best fund to cash in. Do it now. So when it went up, he disappeared and the fund tanked. I know one must take things here with a pinch of salt but guys like that especially in stock markets should be crucified

yes,
if one has the initial investment value of the Nomura
and ALSO if one can trust that Nomura performance can sustain and
it volatility is suitably low as compared to Anista for the investment period
*
Bro your yes is with two questions. Lol

citymetro bro you have to compare both Anita and Nomura with what underlying securities they both have. Then take into the consideration of their risk and returns. From there you can make an in depth decision.

I sold my Anita and jumped into Nomura.

Thank you. Asnita has given me +10.50 so far. I do think that adding Nomura to my port will be a decent move. Just unsure if I should move totally to Nomura or add Nomura.
*
Just check if it overlaps. That's all.

Yes, I've done the comparison and saw Nomura's prospect as compared to Asnita. That is why I am thinking of switching or adding.
Btw, I read about Nomura Holdings troubles in Bloomberg. Should I be concern? Will that affect Nomura Asset Management?
*
No they don't. You are buying the underlying securities of the fund not Nomura. Its like I'm buying airasia counter under Hong leong brokers. Eventhough Hong leong mother share is taking a beating doesn't mean it will affect airasia.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

just noticed....anyone can recall what happened in Nov 2016?

Anista dropped about 1.77% of its value in just 2 weeks....
or 30% of it usual annual returns
and this is not due to income distribution
and it takes her about 3 months to breakeven...

same for other local FI funds too

never put in FI for the money in need for the very short terms.....FI has some % of ups and down too
*
I remembered this. This was because of trump's win and everyone was expecting him to reduce taxes so much that money came pouring into the US markets.

I doubt this will happen again.

SHANGHAI: Asian equities tumbled, oil prices plunged and the safe-haven yen strengthened early on Monday as trade negotiations between China and the United States deteriorated suddenly, reversing apparent progress made in recent months.

Trump is doing insider trading at the behest of putin. His lackeys are surely making alot of money out of this. Notice when the global economy goes up, he will always say something. That and he wants to create a smoke screen to cover the muller investigation.

Just hold and wait out the storm.

Thank you everyone. I think I'm gonna reinvest my wedding collection back into Fsm. From the prior posts that I have read I think it's safe to say fixed income funds are still the way to go until next year US elections.

I learnt libra Asnita is now under kenanga (surprised to find this out this morning)

Nomura I income fund is a new darling.

So between these two which one shall I start invest in first? From the chart Nomura is a better fund but its only because of its 5k minimum investment.

BTW Where's.... What's his name.. The Indian dude who keeps preaching to go to Singapore. He's still around?

Hmmm? So everyone's back to equity? Sounds like a solid plan
