Anyone getting high idle temp with Ryzen 9 9950X3D? Im using AIO cooler (NZXT Kraken Elite 360 v2) but during idle, the temp show 52-60c.
AMD Ryzen, AM4 / AM5 Platform

I'm using the NZXT Kraken Elite 360 V2 with a Ryzen 9 9950X3D. My idle temps used to be around 60°C, which felt kinda high. Just wanted to share a quick tip that helped me drop them significantly: I installed the Thermalright AM5 secure frame and swapped to a better thermal paste. I'm using Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme. Now my idle temps are sitting around 45°C. Huge difference.  edmund_yung liked this post
