He's talking about ram OC stability. AMD is total trash when it comes to it. Plus he doesnt own an intel rig.

last piece of the puzzle,
bought it purely for the purpose as a tool to prevent the paste from getting into the crevices, easier cleaning!
The square shape of the IHS doesn't seem to hv any issues with bending vs Intel's LGA1700

While waiting for the am5 x3d reviews to be out!

Noticed after a few updates on Windows and past couple of months my 7700x has been able to boot Windows 11 without any issues now on EcoMode at the lowest wattage. if not last time I had to turn off and on again a few times for it to boot lol. Guess it's a Windows thing? Or just both. Was never the issue for default and enhanced preset.

AMD surely will seed the media with their king CPU as a starting launch to gain favourable reviews. Then only the lower range will get sent out later. This is normal practice so I dont think there is much to be read from it.
OTOH the actual reviews is far disappointing vs the 'leaks' results. Once again AMD leaker media overhyped their products.
imboss..

AMD historically done far less sales than Intel so I don't see how today is any different and what I would call a losing streak. However AM5 aint doing as well as AM4 was when both were at the same time frame. AMD made a bad call with expensive new platform, expensive DDR5, poor pricing, in an era of super high inflation & recession oncoming. They are getting cheaper but by the time these becomes affordable, less people will have the money to splurge on a new system.

Lol don't listen to forumers who does their research on reddit.
Go do proper market research, both AMD and Intel reports their profit earnings in black and white.

What you and me (the ordinary civies) buy has very little significance on AMD's or Intel's profit earnings. Their actual money is earned from enterprise and semi-custom designs (embedded platforms).

To answer your question, Intel still has the larger market share overall (which includes enterprise) but that lead has dropped considerably over the last 3 years.
